*Smiling to her Tanryoku looked around and then laid down the the back of the small cave , which was only 1 yard deep and 4 yards high. He was really cold but he would not admit it. He was a pup after all. He did not have all the fur the adults did that kept them warm. He shivered a bit but kept a smile on his face*
"What you think of it?"

"I think it's great!" Dia said happily, the tiniest of water diamonds still clinging to her fur. It blended in well with her golden fur, but she didn't pay much attention to it. The three rings in her ear stung slightly, more then likely sore from the rain and the cold, but she didn't pay attention to them either. Instead she padded over Tanryoku and sat down next to him, laying her head down on her paws and breathing out a sigh of relief. The weather was picking up and the sky was now dark, but she felt inside the cave, inside his home.

*It had been silent a few moments before Tanryoku sighed come from the darkness.*
"Where re you from? Whats our amily like?"
*He was bored, when he was bored and could not play he always tried to learn something. Well he had a friend here to teach him things now.*

Dia was happily snuggled up near the pup, letting the rest of the water evaporate and life from her golden pelt when his questions rang out. She thought about it a few moments, troubled times instantly going up in her head.
"I'm not sure where I'm from," she said honestly, her cool blue eyes meeting his orbs in the semi-darkness. "Where I come from is quite a few ways away from here." At his second question her pierced ear flicked back a few times as she wondered how to best answer that one, "They were kind," she said finally after a moment's hesitation, "Great wolves that led their own pack but....." again her ear flickered at the memories, "creatures came to our home, men as they are called. They came and took me away giving me this," she said jerking her head to show of the rings. "But my family saved me....until I ran from fear...." she trailed off, her eyes showing her own inner reflection.

*He frowned and a few whimpers could be heard. Though he did not realize it, they were from him. His parents were gone. He did not know how or why. He just knew they were gone. Tanryoku took a deep breath and looked towards her*
"Oh. Sorry for bringing et up. Re you looking for them?"
*He glanced towards the rings in her ears. That shine of the metal brought something out in him. Something deep with in him. It reminded him of something. Something he saw along time ago. But it was when he was a tiny pup so he could not remember. THis troubled him because he really wanted to know.*

She furrowed her brow has she thought about it, her ear flickering again as she pressed closer to him, painfully aware of how cold it was despite the warmth of the cave. She hadn't noticed the small bits of saddness in his eyes and if she had she more then likely would have tried to lend a comforting ear or opted to not be pushy at knowing.
"At first I did," she said, thinking over it some. "But, after so many moons of not finding anything I gave up my search. What about you," she asked looking over at him, "What of your family?"

*He laid his head down. Noticing that she was close he smiled. He was a pup so he did not yet know of the specialness of a females touch. He just knew that meant that he was no longer alone*
"My family.....My family.........is out sploring the world. One of my old care takers said they were sploring the world. Watching everything from the skies."
*He lifted his head off of the ground and looked to her*
"You...you might have better luck finding your parents if you had another person to help you see where you cant. If ou ant. I can elp you?!"

Dia half closed her eyes like a little puppy in need of sleep as she listened to him. His caretakers were out exploring? That did sound really interesting! From the way Tanryoku himself was, the golden ball of fluff thought they must have been good wolves. At his next round of speaking Dia lifted her head as well, practically beaming.
"Sounds like a plan!" she yipped out.

*Drifting off to a light sleep Tanryoku was smiling. The rain was letting up to a soft drizzle and he was with a friend. Who knew what adventures they would get into. What mischief they would toil with, or who they would meet. But they had a quest. Tommorrow would be the day of a new beginning!*

Dia felt her own eyelids grow heavy and the prospects of a new adventure made her all giddy and warm inside. She was well aware that she had made a new friend today but she was also more aware at the fact that she didn't know what the new day would hold. She let her maw slip until a smirk as she rested her head further onto her paws and drifted into a deep soundless sleep.

NEW RP
As the light shun down into Dia's eyes she let out a mangled, tired yawn as slowly but surely first one eye opened followed by the other. The world was hazy and the colors distorted as the young golden pup attempted to pull focus into the world around her as morning rose. It took her a few moments for her mind to wane off and the events from the previous night to come billowing back into her memory. She let a steady smile slip to her maw as she thought about that and let her eyes tick around the crisp smelling cave for her new found friend.

*Still sleeping Tanryoku was on his back with his two hind legs and one front leg in the air. His other front paw was hung down so it was hclose to his chest. He was sound asleep as he was used to sleeping in.*

Dia was an early riser. She always had been. Maybe it was because of her namesake, maybe it was just because she was always so eager to start the day. Whatever the case, Dia was now ready to go on this adventure the other pup talked about. How exciting! There was just one tiny little problem.
Frowning a bit Dia padded over where the other pup slept and catiously leaned in close to see that he was still sleeping.

*Tanryoku rolled over onto his stomach yapping a bit, still as if he were sleeping. It appeared as if he were going to sleep all day. But given a few minutes his eyes lazily opened themselves. Turning his head up he looked towards Dia. So it was real. It was not a dream from the night before. This made his heart jump a bit causing more blood to rush places. With a shake of his body he was not awake. Standing up slowly and stretching he looked towards his friend*
"Orning Dia!"

Dia giggled as her pink furred friend awoke and insantly her tail began to wag back and forth at a growing speed. Her blue as water eyes studying him closely and she giggled again at his morning routine, seeing the sleep dust still present in his eyes.
"Good morning!" she said happily, jumping up a little from excitement. "Did you sleep well?"
