As for The Rasmus, I love them. ^__^ Lauri has a wonderful voice, writes good lyrics and is handsome on top of it. xD ... Not sure how much you guys know about The Rasmus, and I don't claim to be an expert, but the band was formed when the guys were like 16. I believe they put out their first album when they were 16 too. So they've been on the music scene a pretty long time. So ... exactly why/how are they posers? ... Right. Anyway, I think if you wanna hear an awesome band from Finland, you should check out Feiled.  ^___^ They're really good!!! Have a nice day.

Personally, I hate The Rasmus with a passion. Lauri has such an awful voice, and they're the epitomy of mall-goth.

Jades_Fire_Inside Well, im sure nobody want to hear this but The RasmusI think the rasmus absolutly rock. Theyare a sort of pop rock adult pop band. They are from Finland and are somewhat related to HIM. Lauri (the lead singer) and Ville sang a song together, "Bittersweet", along with Apocalyiptica (sp?) Some songs i would suggest would be off their album DEAD LETTERS, like F-F-F-Falling, The One I love, Still Standing, In The Shadows and In The Shadows. Their officiall website can be found at www.therasmus.com. So yeah, give them a chance! they rock! The Rasmus do absolutly rock.
I have some more song suggestions, that may not have been metioned yet, if they have you can shoot me.
Lauri (lead singer) did another song with Apocalyptica called Life Burns. It's a great track, very, what's the word? Heavy? (That'll do for the mean time on the wording basis). I'm sure that track is on an Apocalyptica album, I just can't remember which one.
Granted The Rasmuses (is that the right way to say it?) old stuff was very "Happy-go-lucky" but as you progree through their album, they do get more serious and "gloomy" so-to-speak.
Great suggestions from their last album Jade, now to suggest some of their new stuff.
Good tracks from their new album Hide From The Sun; Night After Night (a sequel to In The Shadows), Lucifer's Angel, Dead Promises (with strings by Apocalyptica) and for those of you who like the more gental and tear-jerky songs, Don't Let Go is fab.

Songs I would suggest are Rakkauslaulu (completely in Finnish but still stunning), Funky jam (great to listen to when you've had a bad day) and life burns is a good song as well. And to all those that hate the I have a message: Just coz their different doesn't mean you have to be all mean and evil about them.

Honey, don't go for the generalisations plaesae; I've been listening to them since their release in 2004 and not once have I slit my wrists and I do not have brain tumours...just because you don't like them it doesn't mean you have to rip them. Personally I think their better live than HIM are, just an opinion so don't slaughter me, you have your opinions and I have mine so deal with it
