Bloodless Amber YvetteEmilieDupont ZonkotheSane i think it's sad how hard it is for the people to get around. but i mean if it was jew or christians or buddhist doing the suicide bombing it'd be the same thing for them. it's not the suicide bombing. it's sniping children off playgrounds. it's openning machine gun fire at weddings. it's walking into a house and stabbing the whole family. Say you have to choose between two parties to run your government. One is the one that governed everything so far. It has ignored your needs, taken all donations given to it (to help YOU) to itself and its members, never bothered building or repairing foundations, would not give a s*** if you starved to death and generally, is corrupted and selfish. You can be quite certain, that by voting to that party, you make sure your children's life are going to be miserable, and you'd remain poor and unable to support your family. It supports terror, but isn't very active about it. Then there's party number two. It has helped a few people in the past, promises a better future for your children and yourself, financially included. Sure, it's a violent party, and it supports terror (and is active), but hey, which one would you take? Because I know I'd care much more for the ability to make my own personal life better (assuming, by the way, that first party doesn't and has never taken significant steps towards an agreement). Let's not forget that not all of them love us. Living in their society, we practially look like the ones that are causing their life to become hell. Yea. Right... I can't really say much to add to this conversation, I'm pretty much biased, as some members of my family had bad encounters with terrorists. Luckily they are still alive to tell the tale...

nathan_ngl Let's not forget that not all of them love us. Living in their society, we practially look like the ones that are causing their life to become hell. Yea. Right... I can't really say much to add to this conversation, I'm pretty much biased, as some members of my family had bad encounters with terrorists. Luckily they are still alive to tell the tale... Sure we cause their life to become hell as well. Of course, their government isn't being helpful at all, but we are the ones who ruin the foundations and that's not very good for the economy, is it? It's a combination of both factors and we must not ignore any one of them. We all should have the ability to detach ourselves emotionally in order to make decisions and consider our opinions. Being biased is a choice. We all (or most of us) had such bad encounters; but we do have the ability to see beyond ourselves and use our logic rather than our emotions.

I just wanna say something my grandpa said about the captured Israelis soldier and the Palastinean demands:
"They are saying that 1000 of them equals one Israeli? They are admitting that 1 of them is worth less then an Israeli. Someone should go tell them that so they can feel stupid about themselves"

They are admitting that 1 of them is worth less then an Israeli. Someone should go tell them that so they can feel stupid about themselves" I agree biggrin one, that they are stupid, and two, they dont care about their people. also, that is how it was and is, we even traded 1000 live of them and got 2 or 3 dead people... sweatdrop

When was this trade? It happens once in a while, so it doesn't really make much commotion on the news. One famous case was a captured israeli spy that they had hung. A second famous case was a soldier they took in and demanded a huge amount of arab terrorists to be released (for the live soldier). We released them, and they gave us a dead body. How origional. It's kinda funny how they consider one of our people's dead bodies to be worth hundreds of their live people.

They also say that it is a bigger insult to the apes than to us to say we evolved from them.
