crying sad This is one of those times when I think there is no hope for humanity and we all deserve to die.

I was appalled at the way the gunmen used children as hostages. Not only are these children too young and innocent to know and understand about war, but the gunmen were cowardly for hiding behind them.

I'm upset so many people were killed, but I think the Russian authorities made the right choice in storming the school. So many more innocent lives could have been taken if they hadn't made that move.

CNN
At least 338 hostages, including 156 children, were killed.

Officials said 191 people remain unaccounted for.
It just keeps mounting.

I haven't watched a news program since Thursday, but I have a morbid fascination with reading the papers & webpages about it even though it makes me feel physically sick.

Apparently they showed one of the alleged terrorists on state run television in Russia. That mans life is over no matter what he did or didn't do.

I've heard that they told about 300 hostages to go into a room to pray and they threw a granade inside and locked the door... They all died. Horrible! gonk

No thank god but there are some stills on the Times website: Gym Footage

Russia’s security service has promised up to 300 million rubles (£5,780,000)) for accurate information that could help "neutralise" the Chechen rebel leaders Shamil Basayev and Aslan Maskhadov.
Have these guys claimed responsibilty?
