28th April 2005 Participants : Lena + Tyyne, Kat + Shouko ( Artifical Anonymity ) The door to the Home was opened, and a young woman peeked in. "All clear, darling." she told her young daughter, who was standing besides her, gnawing on a doll. "No monstars?" "No monsters, no." She smiled, and moved further inside, walking towards the couch. As she sat down, she turned to look at Shouko who had placed herself on the floor, nex to the couch. Lena had been by called Kat earlier to make sure Shouko and Tyyne would have more time for each other today. The little blonde was quite excited as she walked in toddled inside the project's home clinging to her mother's hand. She was just able to walk with help now, but at least it worked at all. "Sho !" She exclaimed loudly as she spotted her best friend and almost fell by losing her concentration. "Hey Kat." Lena waved with the free hand and smiled. Starting softly when hearing her friend's voice, Shouko soon tried to locate the sound's origin and beamed brightly upon finding it. "Ty!" "Hello Lena." Kat smiled, and waved back. "Come sit. Did Tyyne finally learn to walk?" She, like her daughter, beamed at the young blonde. "She's not able to do it alone yet, but she's trying. Although Ty seems to refuse doing it when someone beside me is watching. Jessi and Nalini are so disappointed, you can imagine. How have you been ?" Lena allowed Tyyne to sit down beside Shouko and walked towards Kat to take a seat. "Sho heyo." The blonde toddler said and made a waving movement with her hand. She was pretty relieved to see her friend. The young one was still scared of her last experience. She had been completely overwhelmed by meeting many new toddlers. "She'll get the hang of it soon, I'm sure." Kat laughed, imagining the two others trying to get a stubborn Tyyne to walk with them, "Oh we've been just fine." Leaning a bit towards Lena, she said in a stage-whisper, "Shouko's been planning to marry Tyyne." She winked, amused by the idea. "Ty's good?" Shouko had been taking politeness lessons from her mother recently, and as a result was trying to be polite, while fighting to urge to glomp her friend. "I hope so. Shouko seems to be much quicker in those things." Lena leaned towards her friends and she raised her eyebrows as she heard the news. The young woman couldn't surpress a laughter as she finally got it. "Aww how cute. Tyyne missed her a lot, because she had been terribly scared by Teagan,Raven and Alex. Too active people for her I guess, although she played nicely with Teagan once." Tyyne didn't know about these politeness thing and so she didn't consider it as a question. "Sho good !" She nodded and smiled slightly just as she always did. "Tea here. Play...Sho not ?""She does. However, she's been having some problems with concentrating." Kat smiled briefly, "Shouko's been very active lately, too. But not around Tyyne, it seems. She missed her." Frowning sadly, she shook her head. "Oh well. How was the new ones?" Furrowing her brow, Shouko tried to decimate the words. "Tyy want play?" "Concentrating ? Oh I see, well I think it's a sign for their age. Ty seems to be the only one who is so quiet. The other toddlers were very alived and just played as toddlers usually do. But somehow Tyyne got scared and hid below the couch." Lena sighed and shrugged. "At least she's got Shouko and Teagan." Tyyne nodded slightly. "Ya. Play. What ?" "That's.. sad. Well, I don't doubt she'll always have Shouko; those two seem to like each other." Kat smiled at the toddlers. "Umm.. Don't no?" The only game Shouko had ever palyed with another Eden was 'who could get there first' and she hadn't really liked that game. "Yes, it's great. But hopefully she'll open up a bit in the future." Lena smiled and suddenly an experience came back to her mind. "Oh and I still need to tell you something. Yesterday this new guardian DiYanni was here and she showed her leaf, the one in the spider's web, to Ty. And guess what...Ty called her 'sista' ! Strange enough..." Tyyne seemed to think about it for a moment before smiling slightly. "Sho cat. Ty cat !" She pointed at her new friend and started to wave her ponytail like a cat tail. It was obvious that she wanted to play cats. "Yes, I met her too." Kat smiled, remembering the woman. "That's weird. Perhaps she felt a kind of connection? It happened with Shouko and leaf-Teagan." Understanding, Shouko nodded, and sat down to a crawling position. Wriggling her small behind, the bow started swishing. Maybe she didn't have a ponytail, but she still had a makeshift tail! "It's strange and so interesting. I wonder if all of them are somehow related." Lena shrugged and looked around. "I'm glad we founded this project, I love Tyyne a lot." "Meow, meow." Tyyne mentioned and crawled across the floor. Shouko had a nice tail too and this looked like a lot of fun. She had watched her own cat Cass for a long time and now she tried to immitate his behaviour. The blonde one just crawled through the room waving her ponytail. What did cats do as well ? "Somehow, I hope not." Making a face, Kat looked at Lena, "I've already planned Shouko's future wedding, and we can't have her partner be her sister or brother!" Having never studied cats behavior, Shouko decided to imitate her friend. "Meow!" Lena laughed slightly and nodded. "Oh well, how about informing me somehow ? I could bake the cake !" Tyyne instead stopped and started to lick her hand just like Cass used to do it to clean himself. "Cat lick hand." She said and tried to motivate Shouko to do the same. Lena stopped and just stared at the children. "Huh ?!" "Oh good!" Kat laughed, "I can't bake for shizzle! Well, that's one less problem.." Whapping out a small pink notebook, she proceeded to scribble for a moment. "Real?" Shouko looked at her blonde friend's hand, quite dubiously, before deciding that Tyy knew best and licked her friend's hand. Lena made a swift movement with her hand and pointed obviously at the playing children. "Do you think it's alright if they...lick their hands already ?!" Ty giggled because Shouko's tongue was tickling and shook her head. "No Sho. You hand !" She toucher her friend's hand and nodded. "Cat clean be !" "Whaddya mean 'already'?" Kat looked at her friend, "I suppose it'd be alright. Shouko had clean hands the last time I looked." "Aity!" Shouko announced and vigoriously licked her hand, trying to be clean like cats. "Perhaps I'm just overprotective. I remember when Nalini and Jessi were young and tried to chew on everything. Even catfood..." Lena grinned and watched the cute scene. "I'm glad they're good friends. It's always great if you know someone since birth." "You good." Ty announced and stopped licking her hand. "Now milk. Cass drink milk. You have milk ?" "It is. She's been talking more lately, hasn't she?" Kat half-smiled. "No milk." Shouko frowned, disappointed for not having the milk her friend obviously wanted. "Grown-ups have milk?" Lena nodded slightly. "Yes, she's becoming more active when Sho is around, although she still retreats from talking a lot at home. But I've often seen her heavily babbling to her cat. I don't know, but probably she's just shy. I was worried that she's...not so quick." "Gwonups ?" Tyyne asked a little bit confused by the words. "Sho get ?" "She seems quite intelligent to me." she smiled reassuringly, "Perhaps a little shy, but still." "Sho get." Shouko nodded determinedly, having come to a decision. Crawling towards her mother (why walk when you can crawl?), she proceeded to yank her mother's pants, while shouting, "Milk, Mama!" "Huh? What are you talking about, sweetie?" Kat looked to Lena for help, hoping her friend might know what this was about. "Yes, I hope you're right." The mother added and watched Tyyne following her friend. "Milk, gwonup !" Lena hesitated a bit before she seemed to understand. "Oh they want milk to fulfill their role as a cat I suppose. Ty played this with Nalini and Jessi at home already. I gave them a low bowl filled with milk so they could lick it with their tongues." "Oh. Do we have a kitchen here?" Had she been an anime character, Kat would at sweatdropped at herself. Why had she never thought to explore the Home more fully? Shouko, thinking that her mother's hesitance meant no, wasted no time in putting the 'I'm-too-cute-to-resist' eyes on. "Yeah, I think so. I think there should be some milk inside the fridge." Lena scratched her head hoping that it was still good. She had been quite lazy to tidy up the house. "Ma, fidge ?" Ty asked and scratched her head just like the mother did. "Mmkay." Kat stood and walked towards the kitchen. "Fidge?" Shouko furrowed her brow, never having heard that word before. After looking around the fridge, Kat finally found the milk. "Umm.. It expired a week ago, I'm afraid." Lena followed and frowned. "Uh...that's bad. A littly bit risky, isn't it ?" The mother watched her child with worries. She was quite sure that Ty wouldn't understand why there was no milk available when Shouko's Ma was carrying some. "Ish cold." Tyyne explained and wrapped her own arms around herself, imitatin a shivering person. "More than a little." Kat raised her brow at the carton, as if trying to get it back to normal, healthy milk. Her eyes lighting up, Shouko understood. Quickly scrambling towards her blonde friend, she hugged her with all her toddler-might. No friend of hers was going to be cold, that was for sure! "Well, perhaps we can distract them someone." Lena sighed and motioned to make the milk disappear somehow. Perhaps Tyyne wouldn't be interested anymore... "Eeee..." Tyyne giggled and hugged Shouko back. "Just game !" She laughed happily. Seeing Lena's point, Kat quickly threw the milk carton in the dust bin. "They seem to be pretty distracted to me." "No cold?" Shouko asked worriedly, not wanting her friend to suffer. "Luckily." Lena added and grinned at Shouko. "So what have you planned today ? Something special going on ?" Ty shook her head and touched her friend with her ponytail by doing so. "No, fidge cold. Ty warm." "She's good to have around in times like that." Kat too grinned at the oblivious pink-haired toddler, happy that the young ones hadn't noticed the milk carton. "Hmm, no, not really. What about you and the others? Heard anything from Ray yet?" "Fidge.. cold?" Shouko looked to her friend for confirmation. "Well, actually he's planned to come home this weekend. I'm quite relieved that he'll help me with the children then. But after that he'll have to go again. Not easy..." The woman sighed. "Yeah!" Ty nodded and smiled. "Sho good." "Well, perhaps we could arrange for a small dinner, then? Or would you prefer being alone with him?" Kat winked, happy for her friend. "I could take care of the kids for the evening..?" Happy to have her friend's approval, Shouko made her best purr-soound. The things you could learn from a television! "You would take care of my children ? Oh that would be great, Kat." Lena hugged her friend exaggeratedly and smiled broadly. "Do you think you could cope with Ty, Nalini and Jessi ? They're quite a handful." The mentioned one just blinked several times and tried to imitate the sound. She hadn't watched TV before and it seemed like a miracle to her. "Wow." Hugging the other woman back, Kat laughed, "I suppose I could take them to some cheesy restaurant and set them loose on the waiters instead. I'll cope, don't worry." She winked again, "You and Ray deserve a little together time." Giggling at her friend's try, Shouko exaggerated the sound so the blonde could hear how it was done. (Or how she thought it was done..) "Thank you so much. I need to arrange some things then and inform my children early enough. Otherwise they won't like the idea at all...Can I call you and we work things out ? Oh I thank you so much." Lena beamed at her friend and slowly walked towards her busy daughter. Tyyne tried to imitate the sound again, but somehow it didn't work out quite well. "Sho better." The blonde one admitted and admired her pink haired friend. "It was no problem." Kat nodded, happy to have helped. "Sure you can." Hugging her friend briefly, Shouko nodded. "But Ty still good!" "Great. Oh that will be nice. I'll call you then. See you soon Kat, see you soon." Lena motioned to pick up Tyyne. "Bai bai Sho." The baby waved and wiggled around slightly as she was lifted up into her mother's arms. "Thanks again, have a nice day." Lena called and left the building excitedly. "See you!" Picking up Shouko and locking the door, they set towards their house.

Date : 29th April 2005 ( Tyyne's thoughts )
I am happy. I am able to walk now. A bit, not much but Ma helps me and it works. Nalini and Jessila are happy. That's a good thing, now I can follow Cass earlier. He my cat, I like him, he fluffy.
Sho is my bestest friend. We had fun yesterday, we play cats. Tea is alright too, but Tea has a tail. Tea has nice shoes though. Sista the leaf is nice as well. She can't talk, but that's not too bad. I didn't do so for quite a while too.
There were two other ones one day. They were scary and I hid below the couch. Ma didn't allow me to do so, it was terrible. I was afraid. Sho and I play cats. Was funny, I liked that. I was Cass, but I'm not gween.

Quest TimeYou have discovered something lately ! Experience It seems like Ty has developed an increasing fear of jewelry and pretty sparkly things. Just like she reacted to Shouko's bow she's reacting to Kyoko's necklace and several other beautiful pieces. That's quite worrying, because her panic attacks are becoming quite a handful. Try to find some accessories she likes to wear and try to make her fear vanish. [ Please follow the quest rules while doing this. As mentioned you don't need to buy an item, you can also describe or draw it on your own. You have to work on this quest for at least one week time now and you should make at least four entries about it. ]

Quest Part 1 - A bad development The sun had decided to appear on the horizon for quite a while and had made it's way up to a certain point as Lena gently moved over to the cradle Tyyne was sleeping in. It was about 9am in the morning and Lena watched her youngest family member with a slight smile on her face. Tyyne was peacefully resting on nothing but the spare mattress. The mother had seen her several times as she had pushed and thrown all of the fluffy pillows outside. Some of them had pretty sparkling flowers on them and Lena had been happy about this nice new possession. But Tyyne seemed to hate or fear them. She was screaming when Lena wanted to put them back into her bed. The young woman was reminded of those monks who tried to use as small amount of things as possible, but she doubted that her daughter liked to follow these principles. But still she wasn't able to figure out what was wrong. It had been the same strange kind of fear, when she had tried to pull of Shouko's bow. Lena stroked her daughter's cheek gently and the girl's golden eyes opened quickly. "Moning..." She announced and yawned. Quite amused by this habit Lena picked the young one up and kissed her forehead. "Good Morning Tyyne, it's a beautiful day. Isn't it ? Look the sun is shining so brightly." Ty just cuddled into her mother's arms and just nodded, not really sure what Lena was talking about. "How about making a shopping tour today ?" The woman mentioned as she carried the young one into the kitchen to serve her some breakfast. She was fond of plain toast with butter at the moment and so Lena sliced the bread into pieces so she could hold them easier. "Shopping trip ?" Two heads appeared in the doorframe as Lena just laughed. Of course they belonged to her older daughters, Nalini and Jessila who were as curious as cats when necessary. "Will we buy something for Ty ?" The dwarf asked and entered the kitchen to greet her sister. The curly blonde followed and grinned. "Oh that's great, we could choose something new and nice." Lena watched Tyyne eating and became rather worried as she heard about the idea of the two girls. They tended to shop too much whenever they came with her. They would probably just mention to support their sister's wealth, but Lena knew that they would choose their own toys. "Actually I just intended to show her some accessories. She's scared of sparkly things as you know and I wanted to make her fear evaporate somehow." Jessila nodded and sat down at the table, whereas Nalini frowned. "Fears can...evaporate ? Does this mean they are in the air then ?" Lena laughed and shook her head. This would become a difficult day.

Quest Part 2 - Shopping Disasters "JESSILA CARAWAY PUT THAT DOWN !" This day could have been so peaceful, Lena was sure. Now she was in trouble as she noticed the expression of her two daughters. They had spend some time in the jewelry corner of several shops, but Tyyne had always rejected to look at shinies. If there was something sparkly she always buried herself into her mothers arms. And one time Lena had been so enormously intelligent to hold a beautiful necklace closer to her daughter. It had costed 500g...and now it was broken. Ty had been so scared that she had kicked at the pendant and her mother had dropped it. This trip became increasingly expensive and they hadn't even found something yet. Jessila and Nalini had insisted on going into the children's section to look if there would be some plastic jewellry. But it was always too bright or too colourful for Ty's likings and so they were soon secure that they would never find something suitable. And this was the time when Nalini and Jessi started to explore and to gather... "But look at these eggs, dearest Mum." Nalini said and was holding a huge egg plushie. "They have different objects...look one has even a leaf. I bet Tyyne would like it." The dwarf held it closer to the baby, which oogled it with fear. Another shiny ? No...something pretty ! "Pleeeeeaassse." Jessila used her well-known puppy eyes and as Ty stretched herself to reach the toy Lena's patience vanished. "No ! No ! No !" She almost screamed and shook her head like a wet dog. "We wanted to get something for Tyyne, not for you." Three children stared at their mother and frowned. Silence covered all of them for a moment before Ty decided to wail. And not one of those small sobs...no, of course not. It was the kind of wail every mother is embarrassed of while shopping. "You made her sad." Nalini stated while Lena tried to make Tyyne calm down. It was impossible, she knew that. "Perhaps she would be happier if she got the egg..." Jessila tried to persuade and put a lot of plush eggs into the shopping cart. "Hello ? Who allowed you to do so ?" Lena mentioned and just blinked several times as her daughters started to push it towards the entry to pay. "We also need some for her toddler friends...otherwise it would be unfair." Both of them stated and the mother tried to hurry to get those eggs out of the cart. But it was too late...she needed to pay them now. Lena grumbled and looked at Tyyne who was resting on her shoulder, while sucking her thumb. "Thank you, mum." Two girls stated while smiling broadly as all of them left the shop. "We'll deliver the gifts to the others." Jessila explained and Nalini just nodded in agreement. "Remind me of not taking you with me next time." Lena stated and frowned heavily, which should have some effect on her girls. "Alright, we'll do." Nalini stated and followed her sister who had already dashed off to the guardians' houses.

"Augh, why did Ilyusha spill his tea on it?" DiYanni moaned in exasperation as she attempted to make out words of smeared ink on her parchment.
As she turned another corner, she eyed the house that stood before her, briefly contemplating if she had arrived at the correct location. She squinted at the incoherent blobs on the paper once more before deciding that this was the place that best matched the little of the description she could read.
So as not to cause a disturbance, DiYanni carefully set the box trimmed in blue and white lace on Lena's doorstep and left.Contents of the Box Dear Ms. Caraway:
While I was considering the notes I had written on Edens the other day, I decided that I should properly thank you for the assistance you have provided in my research. I went to the shopping district to search for a suitable gift that little Tynne might enjoy. Although it's quite fragile, the glass knick-knack enclosed will make a nice decorate for her room, or perhaps she will be able to enjoy it when she is a bit older.
Thank you again for all of your help. I hope to see you again the next time I visit Eden Project!
Regards, DiYanni

Retracing her steps, DiYanni carefully observed the scenery, making certain that this was indeed the way she had travelled only two days ago. She was able to arrive at the house she thought to be Ms. Caraway's.
"Who thought we'd be here again so soon again, eh?" she asked while looking at Madeline, nestled safely in her flowerpot.
Taking the large parcel from under her arm, DiYanni placed it on the doorstep and left as quietly as she had arrived.

Quest Part 3 - Country Resolutions I It was breakfast time again and Lena was desperately staring at the newspaper to avoid looking at the children, who were debating about going back to the shopping mall. Of course, the eggs were a cute idea but some were still at home and Lena had to force Nalini and Jessi to bring them away. Now they were discussing about Tyyne's new umbrella and the cake they wanted to eat. After all, it was much too early for cake and the mother just sent some irritated looks towards their children , who didn't feel affected by this. "Why does Ty always get presents ?" Jessila exclaimed and stared at her marmelade toast just as it could answer the question. "THAT'S IT !" Lena shouted and almost darted her finger through the page of the newspaper. All four inhabitants of the breakfast table just stared. "She's gone mad now..." Kyoko whispered and rolled her eyes as usual. "Naturally crafted children toys and accessoires." Lena commented and smiled at Ty, who had of course no clue about what's going on. ~ So after breakfast, bathroom and baby duties Ty was seated inside her children's seat in the car, while Nalini and Jessila were staring out of the apartment's window. Lena hadn't allowed them to come with them, because she wasn't fond of shopping disasters anymore. The shop was located somewhere outside Barton Town and supposed to be a tiny family company. Lena picked Ty out of the seat and put her on the ground. Usually the toddler was quite fond of being carried, because it gave her a certain distance to unknown people, but right now Lena estimated that it was good for her to walk. She had to practise anyway. "Ma by ?" Ty asked as she followed her mother along the small path besides two flowery meadows towards a small hut. "Yes darling, we'll buy something nice for you." Lena commented and opened the door carefully. Ty instead was amazed by the pretty flowers outside, because she had never been to such a meadow before. Little yellow things with wings were making noisy sounds and some other colorful things were fluttering around. And what kind of plants were those white with yellow spots ? But she had no chance to take a closer look, because her mother just grabbed her hand and pulled her inside the hut. The shop was neat and tiny and indeed everything looked handcrafted. Ty wasn't happy though and her mouth moved from a smile slowly upside down. "We're looking for some accessoires. Ty isn't so very fond of sparkling jewelry, so probably you have something made out of wood." Lena asked an elderly woman behind the counter, who just smiled at the blonde girl. "Sure, if you want to look." As the toddler noticed that her mother didn't pay any attention to her anymore she looked back to the front door. Daylight was coming through a small slit and promised her a good view on the meadow...she would just look, her mother wouldn't even notice. Slowly she moved towards the wooden door onto her small shoes and peered through the slit. Wasn't there a hamster running through the grass ? No...looked different...larger tail... Ty's curiousity arose and she totally forgot about her jewelry mission. The small body was pushed through the slit easily and so she was standing outside in the fresh air. "Heya..." Tyyne whispered and tried to find the small animal again, which had hushed through the grass. It tickled her nose and her arms and a small giggle escaped Tyyne's mouth as she found a big brown earthy hill. Lena had told her about it, there was someone living inside below the earth. Nalini had a book about it with pictures. "Hewwo, you hom ?" She said to the hill, but it didn't answer. So she decided to wait and sat down in the grass. It was so high that she was barely noticable inside. Lena instead was taking a look at several wooden jewelries. Tyyne wouldn't be fond of a single one, they all had too many different colours or too difficult shapes. "How about this one ?" The old woman said and picked a yellow bracelet from the bottom of the many trays. It had a very plain blue floss and some yellow wooden balls on it. It looked very very plain...Ty would definately like it ! But where was she ?

Quest Part 4 - Country Resulutions II The thingy didn't show up and Tyyyne got bored easily to look at the hill of earth. So she tried to concentrate on something else while sitting in the meadow. She felt very attracted by the white and yellow flowers and so she started on a new project totally forgetting about her mother. "I'll take this one then." Lena said as her voice was trembling slightly. Another child had run away and she wasn't just capable of finding Tyyne again. She took the little bracelet and put it into a pocket as she hurried out of the little hut. The shop owner would probably think she was some kind of mad mother, who wasn't able to take care of their child. She was certain...she was embarrassing. "TYYYNE !" She called out loudly and tried to recognise the familiar ponytail somewhere nearby. But the grass was too high to spot the child right away and so there was no chance but to go through it. Lena looked like a crazy hen looking for it's egg as she moved through the green sea. The blonde toddler blinked several times as she heard her name, but didn't feel the need to express something. She was busily knoting one daisy to another to form a funny crown. It looked beautiful... As Lena reached her she almost stumbled over her own daughter and had difficulties with calming down quickly enough. The mother had intensions to scream at her daughter about sitting here and making flower crowns without saying a single word, but she stayed silent. "Ty ! I was worried about you..." Lena said a little bit ouf of breath and kneeled down to look at the girl more closely. "Look !" Tyyne lifted the fragile crown up to show it to the hesitating mother. Lena's lips partened to reveal a happy smile. "That's beautiful, Ty." The little blonde one nodded and moved the crown onto her head, which was followed by happy giggle. "Putiful." She nodded and laughed again as Lena lifted her up and threw her into the air slightly. "You little adventurer, Mam is worried when you run away." Lena commented as Tyyne cuddled up to her chest. As they walked back to the car Lena pulled the small bracelet out of her pocket and showed it to her youngest daughter. The toddler looked at it and slowly freed it from Lena's hands. "Mine ?" She asked and studied her mother's expression. "Yes, it's for you. It belongs around wrists." Lena explained and moved the small bracelet around Tyyne's small hand. "Like it." Tyyne commented as they were already back home and showed it to her two curious sisters. Lena was sleeping on the couch for quite a while...

An unusual excited Tyyne was wiggling around on Lena's arms as they both entered the Project's house. "Down, down." She exclaimed and almost lost her new precious crown made out of daisies. "Alright." Lena smiled and put her on her small feet covered with blue shoes. "Were Sho ?" Ty looked around trying to find her friend. She definately wanted to show her new accessoires.Coming out from the kitchen, a still giggling Shouko following her, Anon waved to Lena and Ty, "Hullo Lena! Heya sweetie," bending down to kiss Tyyne's forehead, Anon beamed at the girl's mother. Peeking out form behind her mother, Sho wasted no time in making herself known once she saw her best friend. "Ty!" Her smile was wide, and her eyes inquiring. What was these pretty new things the blonde one was wearing...?"Oh Kat, I haven't seen you in a while." Lena smiled and waved at Shouko. "I need to tell you about the trouble we had with finding some accessoires for Tyyne...hell wouldn't describe it properly." "Sho look ! My noo cown." She pointed at the daisies on her head and giggled. "Ty made it and that fom ma." The blonde one showed her new wooden bracelet proudly to the friend. "You like ?""No, we really should get together more often." Anon smiled, looking at the toddlers, "Methinks they like being together." Finally noticing Ty's new accesories, Anon blinked, "I thought she didn't like jewellery and the likes?" Giggling enthusiastically, Sho hugged her friend. "So pretty!" she wanted to congratulate her friend on getting even prettier, and hugging was the only way she knew. "I think so, too. Ty was hyper the whole day to come here and show off her new possessions. Indeed I wanted to take her fear away...she seems to like it because it's so simple and natural. She hated all the sparklies..." Lena sighed and looked at the children. "Fank you." Ty said and smiled broadly as she was hugged. But suddenly her stomach started to feel strange. Just like she was very excited...a faint glow surrounded her and started to move over to Shouko. Soon they were both glowing slightly...Anon laughed, thinking of her daughter, "Oh, Shouko loves them. She's been through my drawers quite a few times already, trying to find my jewellery box." Blinking slightly as she saw the glowing toddlers, Anon opened her mouth, though she quickly closed it again, not sure what to say. Beaming as the nice tingly feeling came over her, Shouko admired her glowing friend. The glow grew stronger and the feeling became more and more intensive inside the two children's hearts. It seemed to pulse slightly and became so bright that it was impossible to see what happened inside.
Just a few seconds later two grown children sat in front of each other. The pink haired one happily laughing while the other one just smiled in a shy way. Shouko and Tyyne had become children...Her legs buckling out under her, Anon fell to the floor, gaping. Her eyes happy, Sho enveloped her grown friend in the biggest hug yet. Lena blinked and blinked...and blinked again before catching Kat. Or at least trying to do so. "They...grew ?" She whispered and sat down beside her friend trying to cope with the new looks of their daughters. Tyyne looked at her friend and giggled slightly. "You look diffrent." She commented and looked at the longer hair not yet aware that she changed herself. The blonde one just felt happy, very happy."Apparently," Anon's voice was distant, this was indeed unexpected. Blinking at the two oblivious children, she turned her confused gaze on her friend. Giggling, she poked her friend's long bangs, "You too!" was the exuberant reply, some of the tingling feeling still left in her body."I don't get it either..." Lena said but suddenly jumped up. "BUT I NEED TO WRITE IT DOWN..for reference and science and telling the others." She hurried and tried to find a piece of paper somewhere. "Oh ?" Tyyne looked down herself and smiled slightly. "That nice, I've new clothes and shoes." She also noticed that she was higher than usual and that this could be estimated to be as tall as Nalini and Jessila. And this would mean they couldn't poke and rule over her anymore...yes !Blinking again, this time because of her friend, Anon kept on the floor. Who cared about science? Her little baby just randomly grew into a child! Finally letting the fact sink in, she paled. Oh god no, all the new clothes she'd have to buy! This Project would ruin her bank account, she was sure. Falling down onto the floor, arms above her head, Anon sighed. This was weird. "Me too," Shouko sighed, she'd actually liked the old ones. These weren't as bright, and her hair seemed to have dulled as well. Wrinkling her nose, she noticed that her friend seemed to be as bright as always, so why wasn't she? "I can't find anything." Lena screamed and her expression grew from sadness to anger. "I need to record it, take a picture." She frowned and was close to picking Ty up as she recognised that this wouldn't work anymore. "Um Ty...we have to go home for now. You can come back later today...I need to do something." Ty just wanted to ask Sho if they wanted to play something new as she looked up to her mother. "Um...we can't stay ? We come back later, Sho." The blonde girl got up slowly and sighed."Sorry, Anon. I promise I'll be back." Lena said and disappeared followed by Ty through the front door. Still lying on the floor, blinking, Anon attempted to wave goodbye. Waving at her friend, Sho got up - a bit wobbly at first, as she was not used to having this long legs - and moved towards her mother. Was she okay? After poking her a bit, and her mother just staring, Shouko finally sighed and attempted to hoist her mother up. Finally recognizing what it was her daughter wanted, Anon numbly got up. "Let's go home, sweetie."

It was a quite rainy days, grey, threatening clouds covering the otherwise bright blue sky. Yume was running through the rain which had just started to fall, covering her head with a newspaper with her left hand, her right hand holding a white bag with a brown box inside it, a beige envelope glued to the surface of the box. "Great", she muttered. "I hope the gift doesn't get wet..." She eyed the box, and then continued running, her high-heeled shoes making the growing pools of water splash. As she finally reached Lena's house, she put the box on the doorstep, carefully, and then ringing the doorbell, hoping the box wouldn't blow away the little time it'd take for anybody to open the door. The box contained something rather strange; it looked like a red-pink napkin, but it was more than so. It was a living, small ghost! The envelope smelled nicely of roses, and so did the paper note inside it, which was yellowish to the color, and with the following contents: Dearest Lena and Tyyne! I wanted to congratulate you two on Tyyne growing up, and thus, I roamed the Mini Shops in search of a gift as usual. It was rather hard to find anything suitable for a growing child; I was thinking of a companion, now when she's no longer a baby and can take care of it herself. And I found this little ghost - yes, a ghost! - which is actually rather harmless and friendly. It likes spring and growing flowers, and I think it'll be the perfect companion for Tyyne. It cannot speak psychically but uses telepathy to communicate with humans. It understands human language, though, so Tyyne doesn't need to know how to use telepathy, but can just speak normally and it will understand and answer with telepathy. I hope she enjoys her gift! Yume
PS. I haven't named it yet, so I'll leave that to you. I think it's genderless, but you can decide yourself if you want it to be a male or a female. DS.

11th May 2005 Participants : Lena + Tyyne, Cerena + Circe, Shouko, Feather + Alex "What do you think Geist ?" Tyyne smiled slightly as she looked at the small brown figure floating beside her. Lena had shown it to her this morning and as usual Nalini and Jessila had been jealous about not receiving such gifts. Ty didn't even intend to be special, people just came by and gave her friends. Like Geist, she was great.
Because there wasn't anything to look at at home, Ty had decided to visit the Project. Perhaps Sho was there and she could show Geist to her...Circe perched on the armrest of the couch in the Eden HQ, keeping a weary eye on his exhausted guardian while he practiced his singing. He was getting quite good at it, he thought, even better than those people on the strange black box Cerena had played before! And maybe someday it would be his voice coming out of the box!
"Oh yes, Circe," People would point and say and scream and swoon like they did over famous people (none so pretty as him), "Magnificent in every way!"Cerena decided never to have another child as long as she lived. Except for Koyuki's babies. And the other baby she wanted, to raise alongside of Chai and Koyuki's children. But after that, no more. It would be unfair to label Circe as a nightmare... Only ghouls and swamp things and horrible monsters belonged in that category, even if Circe went out rampaging in the small hotel room she lived in with Lethe and would tear everything up and get into everything and scatter it around and dump his food everywhere and and and -- If she kept thinking about it, she would never be able to sleep again. She entered the house without knocking beeing quite confident about her mother owning it. As her golden eyes spotted the new person on the couch and a tiny one on the armrest, Ty was close to leave again. She wanted to meet Sho...not somebody else...she wasn't so fond of new ones.
"Um..." Was all she said and looked at Geist who didn't seem to mind the new people.Circe paused in his neverending rendition of some Michelle Branch song Cerena had made the mistake of letting him overhear on the radio when she'd been off doing dishes to chirp, "Hullo dad!"
Carefully hopping off the couch, the young boy decided he couldn't make the trouble of getting any closer to her and so plopped himself down and stayed where he was. "Pretty thingy," He remarked conversationally.Cerena glanced up briefly before sitting up, noticing that the girl who'd been around when Circe was still a leaf was here now. "Heya," She greeted softly. Alright, now Tyyne was REALLY close to leaving. The young boy with the colourful and heavily sparkling feathers called her dad ? She was used to strange people at home, but she had never experienced this before. She wasn't as dressed as some other girls, but wasn't it obvious that she was a girl ? Or had she received a baby without noticing ? Probably...with Sho ? "I'm not dad. Who are you ?"
Her thoughts were happy about an interruption and she smiled slightly as she noticed Cerena's greetings. "Hello Miss.""Circe," He wrinkled his nose, slightly annoyed that she didn't seem to remember him either. What was up with these girls? First they fawn all over him when he was young and innocent and naive and then dumped him when he grew up? "You, 'Ko... And leaf-me. Daddy, mommy, baby."
Hah, he bet Madeline didn't immediately forgot who he was! Nor did Alex but that was okay, Alex was a boy and didn't count as far as flighty females were concerned. He briefly wondered about the other boy and his friend -- Waven, he called her? -- and began to smooth his tail-feathers out in thought.
Maybe Shouko and Tyyne were just jealous of him. Yes, that made the most sense! Of course they would pretend they didn't know him, when he far outsparkled them! "Hello, Eden peoples!!" Alexander chirped happily, emerging with uncanny suddance as he paraded into the main living room, having come from the back door to the HQ, this time. Feather, as usual, followed closely behind. Alex was always fond of suprises, and assumed the others were, as well. He stood in the center of the room, amber eyes blinking with curiousity as they shifted from Circe to Tyyne, and repeated. "Hello!" He cheered, waving at them. Giggling, Shouko decided that perhaps the front door was a better alternative this time. Still giddy from delivering Circe's present (she was so proud of it!), she skipped into the Home, beaming at all present. "Hello!" Quickly spotting Ty and Circe, she made a bee-line for them. And suddenly it everything seemed to fit...or not...Circe had grown into a sparkly monster ! He had been a natural pretty leaf and now he was so...colourful. Their baby had grown without even asking. Ty frowned slightly but tried to smile, which combined to a strange mixture.
"Oh yes, sorry Cerena." How embarassing...The blonde girl was close to turn around as she suddenly spotted someone else. Another fluttery one ! Less sparkly though...more active indeed. She sighed...what was going on here ?
"We can...play again when Sho is here." Ty tried to comment and looked down at the smaller boy."Alex!" Circe greeted with a smirk tugging at his lips. "Was just thinking about you!" Ahah, he was so powerful! Able to attract people with thoughts alone! He puffed his feathers out in pride, lifting them up but not quite spreading them.
"And now we play," He commented, seeing the also aforementioned pink-haired girl fly in through the front doors. "Alex can be.. uhm..." He stared at Cerena."The stork?" She offered weakly. "Play ? Sho ? Well...I..." Tyyne looked from one person to another and you could pretty much think she had 'FEAR' printed on her forehead. Too much...just too much for her...She needed to think about it first and then arrange something with Sho and then...they could play. But now... "Geist...needs to be fed !" The blonde one exclaimed, grabbed her pet and hurried out of the house. Phew...

Mam is so sad and I don't even understand why. She's crying while she's making food for us and she's crying when she sits alone in the living room. I wonder if it is because she's afraid of something.
Perhaps it's because of my growth ? I'm much taller now and I'm even taller than Nalini. But Jessila says that usually everyone is taller than her. Sho is a child now too and she still wears the colourful clothes. Her hair is as long as mine now, but she doesn't have a ponytail. Mam makes mine every morning...it's nice.
I also got a new friend and Cass is jealous. He tried to hit him once. My new friend is able to fly and can talk to me without anyone hearing it. I called him Geist. He doesn't talk too much and that's what I like about him. He's brown, just like a cake who was in oven for too long.
Mam also says something about getting a new house with a big room for everyone. I wonder what this means...perhaps we're moving into the Project's rooms ?

I haven't seen Sho for a very long time now and I miss her, because my siblings are always so silly. Sometimes they are nice, but often they just run around and scream and pretend things they don't know.
Mam told me Teagan grew as well, but I can't imagine him big. Perhaps his tail is bigger now too ? I would really like to play with Sho and Tea and probably somebody else. But only probably...
We have not moved into the new house yet. Mam says Ronin and Kyoko and Nobu have to come back first.
We also have a lantern-sibling now...Nalini and Jessila are arguing all the time if it's a boy or a girl or a bird. I think it doesn't matter personally...hopefully it likes to play with me. I like playing with Geist. I switch on some music and Geist dances and I watch. That's our game and the others don't like it...I have to show it to Sho. She'll like it for sure.

20th June 2005 Participants : Lena, Tyyne, Nalini, Jessila, Nobu and the lantern"You're back !" Nalini squealed as she hugged her brother, who toddled out of his room slowly. Indeed Nobu had arrived back already a few days ago, but the girls were still happy about seeing him again. And after all they had decided that it was oh so funny when he was looking annoyed then. Yes, the Cathar was more than annoyed. Of course he still loved his sisters, but they always reminded him of his stupid attempt to run away. It hurt him somehow. Tyyne always stayed quite and just watched. She wasn't so familiar with Nobu so she prefered to observe the situation as she always does. After breakfast and cleaning the table Nalini and Jessila were close to gather the pets to do another one of their infamous pet races. Luckily Lena was quick enough to stop them before another disaster occured. Last time it had taken hours to get the blood out of the carpet, because Luna, her Cait, had hurt her paw. "Hey kids, you still need to choose the wallpapers for your new rooms. You remember, we will move as soon as Ronin and Kyoko come back." The mother stated as she put a catalogue on the table and a lot of curious children eyes stared at the colorful samples. "I want pink !" Jessila exclaimed quickly before recognising that many different pink wallpapers were available. She jumped slightly and was close to grab the catalogue as Nalini had already taken it. "Oh nice...!" She exclaimed and stared at something green. "Hey you..." Tyyne instead didn't even look at it. She would look at the pages when everyone was ready, she had time. Nobu grinned and waves his tail friendly. He was pretty fond of the moving idea, because he could probably invite his friends over to train in the new garden or do some camping. "I'd like something plain blue or silver." The Cathar mentioned and felt quite grown-up because of the simple choice. After quite a few quarrels and tons of changes in opinion even Nalini and Jessila had managed to decide on something. As Lena was about to close the catalogue, three girls suddenly screamed with despair. The mother blinked in surprise as Nalini and Jessila dashed into the living room and carefully carried the glowing lantern into the kitchen. It was gently placed onto the table and Tyyne stroked the feather gently. Lena was forced to grin, very amused by the daily ritual. "Our sister or brother wants to choose too." Nalini started and made a very important face as she pointed at the colorful pictures. "It's a bird." Jessila sighed and rolled her eyes. Lena was pretty secure this discussion would never end, even if the child should emerge someday. Jessi would always call it bird, no doubt. "Do you like this ?" Tyyne said in her almost whispering voice and pointed at the first page. The lantern didn't glow more intense than before... "How about this ?" The children turned to the next page and waited for a response. Again, nothing. "This one ?" Page was flicked, no answer. Next one... Nobu left the room quickly and shook his head grinning, whereas Lena felt the duty to stay and care for the lantern. Sadly she just realized that this damn wallpaper catalogue counted round about 200 pages....
