Rahu chuckled. “Sounds good to me but you shall be surprised at how I can run but I’m sure I will be surprised by you.” Walking over and standing beside Shetan and got ready to bolt. Flashing a smirk at Shetan he was ready to go all out and run. It was funny how after they had fought they where now actually being nice to each other. He was surprised he felt he could actually call Shetan a friend in a way when he never trusted or called anyone a friend.

 Shetan chuckled loudly. "well you look like you have a good build..I have never lost...so let us see and find out!!" he shouted the last part. He stomped his hoof a few times, muscles tensed and ready to spring into action. His black body listened and his eyes glowed with anticipation. "ready....." he spoke confidently and flashed a grin at Rahu. "Set"..........

Rahu still had the smirk on his face. “Well thank you and I won’t underestimate you.” He then tensed up his muscles also as Shetan said ‘ready, set”. “GO!!” he yelled a right after the set and bolted off at a run. totaly confident in his running ablity as he could tell Shetan was also. he did not go all out yet, since he did not want to wear himself down too quick.

Shetan raored laughing as he bolted. He had a feeling Rahu would do that and he had bolted to a fast start almost at the same time as Rahu. He surged forward, his muscles letting loose and flying now. Surely he would not run all out yet but soon...very soon. He was aching for it. He caught Rahu quickly and settled to sun only about a neck's length ahead of him..just enough to tease him and entice him to speed up.

Rahu still had the smirk on his face as he had bolted. Oh he knew Shetan would catch up and did and only went as far as a necks length ahead. His smirked widen at that and picked up enough speed to get neck in neck with Shetan. He knew Shetan had done that to tease him and definitely went with the tease. Oh he itched to go all out but not yet. But he would keep up with Shetan tell he went all out.

Shetan could still see the smirk on Rahu's fac, so he kept him close for now. They were going lightning fast, but still not to the limit each could go. They rounded the mountain base and sped along the forest lining where it met the valley floor. He was also itching to run full out and he knew rahu must be too....as they approached the valley space towards the water's shore he shot forward with a surge of unbridled speed. He knew he;d see Rahu beside him again soon...His flanks heaved up and down and his sides heaved as white lather once again covered his body. Oh how he loved the feel the wind in his face.

Rahu watched as Shetan now with a bust of speed, went past him now. Snorting with a grin on his face now, he decided he would go all out. And a surge of pent up energy, He went raced forward to catch up. Letting loose he eventually caught up with Shetan again. His body already now was covered in white lather but he did not mind at all and continued on. Letting himself feel the wind, he enjoyed it and loved how he could just let loose when he was running.

Right on cue Rahu came into sight beside Shetan. He grinned and pushed himself harder, muscles working hard and still he asked them for more. They raced neck to neck, nose to nose as they rounded the bend onthe lake's shores. His sides heaved and he sweat as heavily as the stallion next to him. The refreshing feeling of the wind in his face and mane'n'tail whipping behind him, the sheer joy and pleasure of all out speed was exilerating. Now it was a matter of time before they both dropped from exaustion..and who would win? or would it end a draw?

Who knew which of the might black stallions would win the race? But Rahu continued to press on and was determined to ether win this race or make it a draw. His mane whipped behind him, as he pushed his muscles and legs for more speed. Tossing his head a little as he kept pace with Shetan, he was enjoying this race more than anything. He was going to keep going till he was flat out exhausted and did not care at all but only wanted to keep enjoying the race.

Shetan surged forward as he demanded more speed from his legs and aching muscles. He knew Rahu would press forward and catch him. His tail was raised high, head extended and body low to the ground. He would appear as a giant black blur to any watching the display. His heart would not give up or fail him and he still pushed himself further, asking for more. His body was soaked with sweat, its salty taste running into his mouth. He would have been flying if he had wings. Hooves scarcely touched the ground as the duo moved forward almost like a team really. Shetan knew he was tiring but he would run until he dropped.

Rahu kept on going and trying to keep pace with Shetan. But no mater how much he wanted to keep the same pace, he had his limits and he had reacted his limit of how fast he could go. His boby was covered in sweat from the long run and he slowly started to slow down. But he was going to keep going til he ether dropped or Shetan stopped
