Gourou Bandai Please excuse the hp refernence but Lestat looks like what Snape would be as a teenager. xd Thanks Snapes is one of my favorite characters!! And I suppose I look emo, but I dress in a more classical renaissance goth fashion. Also the whole goth based religion thing being twisted into another religion. Thats simple the original name was gotholic.....hmmm sounds alot like catholic to me, also look at a lot of old catholic structures in Europe. And no I'm not making this up, I actually had a long discussion with a guy in a Jack in the Box who studied religion and what not. But like you said it was twisted all around, and yes I'm only gothic in style and fashion alone. Religion wise I'd rather not go into to much, for certain reasons....and before you get any ideas floating around in your skulls. NO I AM NOT A SATAN WORSHIPER!!! I made it bold to get the point across. Alot of people tend to think just cause someone is goth that they automatically worship Satan in dark rituals and other crap like that. Well I believe that's my $0.02.

Since your appearance is close to those stereotypes but they are more than just appearances, eitherway good stuff. Well personally I hate lables and stereotypes, but if you were to lable me I guess goth. Cause I'm definitely not emo, can't stand them for the most part. Goth is no more than a style it's absolutely shallow with the rest of that pap. And Lestat, you're cool and all-- but you have to admit you look pretty freaking emo in that pic man lol, but it's just the hair really. No.. not really.. the more popular definition of the gothic nature supports your theory, but the actual definition of it shows that in fact it is a religion that has been taken and molded into something entirely different. Though I am unsure of the finer details of said religion I know of its existance. But we're obviously referring to the style, there was a deeper meaning sure at one time but we're not acknowledging it. There's more to the swastika for example than people think, but since the nazi movement it is recognized as one thing only. We were not calling Lestat a practitioneer of a dead religion. I completely agree. And.... Lestat.. you do look kind of emo....o.O Yes Gothic is a belief that is not widely known, much like Wiccan. Yes it has been distorted over time and has had little offshoots much like the emo appearance/attitude. I still hate seeing swastika's myself, and I have no idea why people still idolize Hitler, especially when with their race he would have killed them. I was asking more if Lestat knew of these things and was like them, more than just his appearance. Because some people can look emo but they aren't big huge crybabies who want to kill themselves and make the world a better place. His appearance alluded to one of the two, but obviously he does not really fall into either category.

Let's see........  When I cosplayed slightly as Vash at Harucon this year...  Again, Harucon, resting from being on my feet all day with my friends.  Ditto  Pictures before work...  again...  and me in my work shirt...  I tried waving but he picture was too damn dark.... Man that camera really sucked...oh well, enjoy the pictures....cus knowing my luck my next pictures'll be of me in the military...TT^TT

yay x3 a picture thread. Don't think i'll be in here though.. I don't have any recent pictures because I'm always on the other end of the cam. Well, when I have one that is. We kinda share one for the whole family and my aunt. sweatdrop So I only see it when I need it for some project or so. go me! -click-
