Anyway this is off topic but I was thinking that an interesting addition to the Reality Check would be perhaps a Homework Help thread of some sort. Or at least a place to converse about school.
Well anyway I thought it would be nice for us to be able to help each other out with academics...
Proving once and for all that the internet does not kill brain cells! Sorry...got carried away there...let me get off my soap box. xp

By the way of rants, you actually thought what you just said was a rant?
That might have been on a different topic but it was certainly not a rant...
ON the topic of homework and what not, I think it is a great idea. I can think of an essay or two that I am proud of, such as the grade-A myth in my profile and my comparison of batman to Orestes and Joan of Arc. Oh god those were good times...

Well some of us are taking a summer semester at college. gonk So school is not over for me at this point in time, but anyway. Perhaps that sort of thread can be launched once you all get back to school.
I still have another set of class hours to get out of the way before I get a bloody break. sweatdrop Anyway...I have a essay to go and write... night guys...

Time for a topic change and angry rant!
Ok, I was asking my parents if I could buy an air soft rifle with my own money. They were perfectly fine with this up until the point when they found out that air soft guns look like guns, not super soakers.
I can understand that they would not want me roaming the streets and shooting birds with this thing. I really can. I could understand if I was shooting at cop cars.
The sole reason for a lack of air gunning is because I am planning on using this in the creek. There is an isolated creek down from our house and they are afraid that in the fifteen to twenty feet of walking to the creek, a neighbor might see me with what looks like a gun and call the police.
That is understandable.
But that is not the reason.
The reason is that the neighbors would see this, and since they are black, they would freak out and due crazy black things. Not because I have a firearm, but because they are black. They are not concerned about our sensible white neighbors, but oh-those-darkies!
What. The. ******** could have defeated my own argument better than they did.

Oh wow Sovi...your parents sound like mine. sweatdrop My sister dates a black guy and when my parents found out they grounded her...for like ever. eek
I suppose it is because my parents are from a different generation but my dad thinks that it is even a terrible sin if either myself or my sister date anyone that even has a native american background. gonk
Actually I really do think my mom as lost some of her marbles. I'm sure that Ru'ni has heard some of the stories about her. Like the time that she woke me up at 7am in the morning yelling at me for not watering the plants the night before...bloody insane.

My granma was kinda weird... once we visited and I was in the guest room, she was sleeping on the couch and my parents were in the bedroom, so I had the windows open and my granma comes in at about 12:30 and doesn't say anything but just closes the windows. So I was woken up becouse of that I opened the window again and locked the door, so then she tries to get back in at about 1:00 and the doors locked so she goes into my parents room, wakes them up, and has them unlock the door so she can make sure I'm alright and close the window again... -_-

Hey, you know what’s worse? My mom runs my school.
Ok, this is the most disturbing dream I have ever had.
I was talking with these girl scouts and testing the experimental flavors of their new cookies when they suddenly began spouting racist jargon. After a while they left and when I looked at the front door, there was a note that I was being summoned to racial awareness school for my hateful racist hate.
A cop ran up to me, gave me a "ghetto survival packet" which consisted of two cans of orange soda, watermelon laffy taffies, fish food, a 9mm and several baggies of drugs.
Then I had to get in a car and drive down to this pristine British estate which was the ghetto school. Once there, many scholarly types lectured me on the evils of my racist ways but then began spouting racist things akin to "them darkies likes the fried chicken cause theys black!" After rigorous instruction on the id, I was then given "ghetto-flage" to be unnoticeable in the ghetto. This was a bullet-proof purple pimp coat with hydraulics.
I was then marched through "the ghetto" which was just the freeway with doors and people would come out of the doors, scream "yawls ******** is racist!" and then shoot me.
Am I going to hell or to a small padded room?
