Umo looked down to his daughter; his tail twitching. She absoluetly was not like him when he was younger. He was sulky and alone most of his childhood. Being from such a large litter. He adored her eyecolor, since that and her markings were almost the only thing he shared with her... course some of his perosnality. He blinked his eyes, laying down with a thud. He then rolled onto his side; his head stretched, while he reached out with his front paws and tickled Kina with them soflty.
"I suppose we could take a nap. I am tired after all this traveling. Your mother shall be here soon enough." He said, with a large yawn. He opened one eye too look at his daughter. "Well, After we sleep we can clean. It is nice and cool with this mud on our backs. After all... you live in the swamp lands." He said with a smile.

Kinamasi smiled and curled up close to her fathers mane nestling down in the deep reddish fur. Yawning a bit she sighed softly and snuggled up closely to her father. "as long as mum wont be man" she whispurs burying her nose in his chest, it was a very comfortable place and it wasn't long before the little female was drifting off to sleep. It had been a fun day.

Umo enjoyed the feeling of Kinamasi snuggling tightly to him. Something about her innocence and beauty reminded him of her mother greatly. He nuzzled her lightly with his nose; breathing in her sweet swampy smell. He wrapped a paw around her small frame; marveling at how such a small little girl would be a killer one day. She would be a lovely female; perhaps with a mate and children. The thought of being a grandparent was a new one. He shook his head; lowering it down to lay it across his daughter.
"We will sleep and then find mother. She will know we are safe. The spirits watch us after all..." He said, closing his red eyes; and soon he also was asleep.
These were the moments to cherish with his daughter.
His swamp jewel.
