Zeidan smirked. "Looks like I got myself a Hunt Mistress." he said, still smirking. He dug his claws in the ground for a moment, before speeding towords the den, peering in at the two kits. "Good, so I don't have to go hunting anymore." he said to himself.

Anastacia kept low to the ground. Her belly brushed against the dried grasses as she began to unsheath her claws. Her eyes scanned the area until she found her target: a lone female with her fawn. Two in one day. Now, how to get them both. A design fromed in her mind as she crept closer to them. The trees were getting thinner and the grass wasn't growing any longer. She had to do something. In an effort, she sprang, her claws digging into the ground for support as the group scattered. She went afte rher target never losing sight of them. Her muscles moved under her skin as she began to run down the female. Maybe..if she did this right...Suddenly, she pounced. Her forelegs were spread wide as she came down upon both of their rumps. The fawn came down first. Anastacia held it down with her back claws as she struggled to bring down the mother. She got it down and held its throat in her jaws, the teeth going through the bone. Her back claws never left the struggling baby as the mother writhed and moved beneath her body. She wondered if she has the stamina to keep them contained. The huntress had enough trouble keeping up with them.

Zeidan had watched through the trees, watching from the distance. He had no intention on helping her, just watching. Wanted to see, just how good she was. Got two down in one shot... not bad. Lets see if she can keep them down.... he thought.

She struggled a little, the mother simply wouldn't give. AFter a while, she did and stilled. Her breathing was shallow. Still planting her foreclaws deep into her shoulder, Anastacia turned around over the two, almost losing grip. Her black claws hooked against the mother's side as her jaws now shut upon the fawns. It was a less strugle as she snapped it's neck with quick jerks of her head. Growling, she got up, still stepping on her prey, and hoisted the fawn over her shoulders. She then grabbed the mother and dragged her across the terrain. It was a slow process, but atleast they didn't have to hunt for a while. Soon, she made it back to the ashy main area of her new home. She panted as she dropped the carcass in the middle and let the other one slide off her back. Bloody, sweaty, and tired, the female began to lick her paws not even bothering to do her back. She would have to find a place to wash off soon.

Zeidan stepped up behind her, peering at her catch. "Good job." he said, standing behind her. He looked at the blood over her coat, and stepped passed her. "If you take walk, northeast from here is the lake. Its out of my lands, but no prides are near by. Its actually a river that breaks off from the main lakes. You can wash up there." he said, not even looking at her.

Anastacia blinked a little looking over at him. She nodded and gave a gruff 'thanks' and followed his instructions. Her paws touched the dirt thudding from being so tired. Her tail trailed behind her as she continued her little walk. Soon, she came up to the lake. The lioness admired its vast and clear blue waters. One thing in life she learned to appreciate was water and what life it brought. She stepped into the cool waters and washed off her fur. The lioness took her time knowing the pride was well fed and wouldn't need her for a while.

Zeidan walked to the catch, picking up the small one in his jaws. This, he would save for the kits, if they needed it. Then, he walked back to the large one, begining to rip the flesh. He, would eat first, weather the others liked it or not.

Tierany lay within the den, her body curled protectively around Lakona. She could smell the other female, and pinned her ears, a soft growl rising in her throat. It wasn't really anything personal, she just didn't like being around many lions.
Zeidan was one thing... And the kits never troubled her. But more lions? She curled more around the sleeping cub and sighed.
"I don't think I can do this..."

"Can't do what?" he asked, walking into the den, with a blood-stained muzzle. He stepped over to her, plopping down near her, looking down at the sleeping Lakona. "Don't worry about Anastacia." he said, looking at Tierany. "Now atleast we have a hunt mistress." he smirked, shifting his weight slightly so he was more comfortable.

Eyeing him and listening as he reassured her about 'Anastacia', she felt a ripple of- jealousy?- pass over her coat. She glanced back at Lakona and nuzzled the sleeping kit, rearranging herself and sighing. She didn't feel she could explain herself to Zeidan, or to anyone for that matter, so she flicked her tail and turned her eyes back to the entrance of the cave.
"A Hunt Mistress, hmmm?" She murmured, echoing his earlier thought. "That is, fortunate..."

The female stepped back into the den area. Looks like Zeidan had already eaten and left some for her. Well, she wasn't hungry and she didn't want scavengers to get the meat. Picking up the bigger of the carcasses, she stepped over the den looking around the stone ridges. Finding a pocket that seemed to be hidden away, she stuffed the rest of the big one in there. Stepping off from her handiwork, she could barely see the carcas and mixed in with the many smells that occupied that area, it should be masked. No garuntees though. Huffing a little, she stepped over to the smaller one and went inside the cave. She came in and noticed the other lioness with the kits. Dropping the meat, she gave a small huff. "Sorry to disturb...just thought I'd drop this by before scavengers came..." Anastacia gave a brisk nod to Tierany then came out of the cave. She shook herself slightly and settled near to the entrance, her head laying upon her paws. The lioness was tired from the days events and she needed a little rest. Curling her tail around her form, she closed her eyes and began to doze, her ears slightly pivoting. Even though the huntress as sleeping, she was still on high alert.

Rousing himself from the ash of inner forest, the small Shaman padded closer. The scent of blood was in the air, and the rush of death raced along his nerves. He had followed the hunt, savoring the pain and anguish. Arcane followed the deathsong into the cave.
Red-gold eyes peered at the one known as Tierany and then the one that slept in her circle. There was something about the black cub he couldn't put his paw on. A softer, melodic song that sang of velvet wrapped chaos. Snorting softly the male went to what he wanted. Tiny milk teeth dug into the fur of the fawn, ripping.

Zeidan nodded to Tierany, looking down at Lakona. His ear flicked, hearing Arcane near, begining to eat his food. Zeidan's head perked up slightly. He glanced at Anastacia through the corner of his eye, before looking back to Tierany. There was something she wasn't saying. He watched her slight movments, before glancing back to Anastacia. "You don't like another Female here." he stated, as if knowing it was true.

Lakona woke at the feel of the other lioness nearby, but kept her eyes closed and feigned sleep. She resisted the urge to shudder when the male kit came by, disliking the feeling that he knew what she was. When he was gone again, she pretended to wake up, yawning and mewing at Tierany.

Tierany smiled at the little kit, thanking her for the distraction she provided from Zeidan's question. "Well met Lakona.. Shall we go for our walk now?"

Lakona grinned eagerly and nodded, standing and dancing about.
"Yes, let's." She agreed happily.

Tierany stood with a regal nod to the King, and strode out of the den and past the other lioness, leading the dancing Lakona out toward the woods.
She smiled as the cub began regailing her with tales of dancing through the night sky, and listened in interest. What must it be like to be a child of the sky, and then be sent here? She noted the tone of sadness underlying Lakona's lilting, songlike voice, but decided to keep her silence.

The male cub watched the others leave, smiling. So the Moon Child didn't like him. This would be interesting indeed. Licking his chops to clean them of blood he stepped out of the cave. Arcane watched Lakona, tail softly waving around his feet.
