wait..let me elaborate...i mean i'm mostly attracted to the person they are..not how they look thats what i meant...i said...it also aint a bad thing if they have a nice body whee

Exactly how I define pansexual for myself: I fall in love with the person, not the body. And if some people love each other the body part will be able to turn out somehow. whee

LAWL.

I'm a cigerate.

I thought the difference between Bisexual and Pansexual was;
Bisexual likes man&woman.
Pansexual likes Man&Woman&Crossdressers&Transexual&Etc.

Um... and monosexuals don't? I'm pansexual, but this whole holier-than-thou attitude some pansexuals have really ticks me off. Gays and straights are in love with people, too, not bodies.

Pansexuality was coined as being distinct from bisexuality because of the presence of people who could not be fitted into one binary category or another. Not so people can prance around saying "look at me, I care about what's in your mind, not what's in your pants!"

I agree with Liesk. That kind of attitude really irritates me and makes me respect people less, not more (which is generally the point of the whole "I love no matter what they look like" shpiel).

oh..i wasn't meaning that way..i'm just saying..i love what a person has in their hearts regardless of what the body that holds the heart looks like...do i seem mean saying this? o.o -bewildered-

Not mean really...and not snobbish or self-righteous, either, unless you spend all of your time declaring it to the world and believing that others don't feel the same way that you do.

gosh no...i don't really "proclaim" my sexuality like its something to lord over others with...i'm just a normal crazy person..i don't like showing off...if people ask me if i'm bi or whatnot i'll just tell them the truth..but i most definatly don't act snobbish o.o

I wasn't targeting you in particular. But a lot of bi/pan folk really need to watch what they say, otherwise they're going to offend a lot of people. I understand why you end up defining it like that, but it's a definition created out of insensitivity to diversity and a defensive reaction that is not the reality of it. Does that make sense? I know you and most people are fully capable of loving people for who they are and not what their bodies are like, but that's the point, by defining that as pansexuality you're by extension proclaiming that non-pansexuals fall in love with penises and vaginas rather than people.

i'm sorry..i didn't mean for it to come out that way...i didn't mean that...all i meant was that it's not that i'm attracted to a certain gender...just a certain type of person (i.e personailty like kindness and stuff) i personally think what a person is in life is what they are and what they want to be..and i love that about them ^_^ (lately i have a thing for drawing crossdressers...is that weird? O.o)

Only slightly...not really...no. If I could draw, I probably would too.
