"For what?" She asked, still staring down at her mother's grave. There sat a darklighter's crossbow, and flowers Jen had left there the week before. Jen sighed and smiled softly.

"for one not believing you. and two not trusting you. You are a friend and a partner. I should have had more faith in you." he said going over and noticing the crossbow and his eyes grew as big as saucers.

"And I'm sure that doesn't help much." She said, referring to the cross bow sitting next to her mother's grave stone. She picked it up. "Odd to leave it at a grave site though." She muttered.

"That and because I don't have one." Jen said, through clenched teeth, aiming the bow at the tree in the corner and shooting. She hit her mark dead on. "Just like a regular cross bow." She muttered calmly.

She felt heat rush to her cheeks, more-so from embarassment then anything else. "Sorry." She muttered, placing the cross-bow back on the ground, and looking at Blake questioningly.

"That's not important right now." Jen said, realizing that something was bugging him. "What's wrong? Why were you so sensitive about the cross bow? And I know it's not about Paige." Jen said.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know." She said, after a short pause. She smiled at him, contemplating whether she should hug him or not. She decided against it at the last second. "Maybe you should head back to Matt's, I'm pretty sure he's not going to want to see me right now." Jen suggested.

She rolled her eyes. "I'll be fine. Don't worry about me." She said, smiling slightly and sitting on the stone gate.

he turned arounde and started walking then he noticed his mothers tombstone and stopped. he knelt down and put his hand on the stone.

Jen jumped off the gate and knelt down beside him, looking at the tomb stone. She recognized the name. "Your mom?" She asked, looking at him.
