Do you lie alone at night just thinking of what could be? Or perhaps you wondered what it might be like to weild a sword or shoot fireballs from your hands. Maybe you thought that it'd be really cool to meet an elf or even be an elf. Or fly across the skies on the back of a dragon. What would it be like to have treasure beyond your wildest dreams or uncover lost ruins from another time. Well whatever your fantasy is, you can have it here! Is too lazy to join with the account that created this PoC RP/Guild...thing or bother Josh.... so simply quotes it Petals of Chaos Genre: Guilds related to RP Short Description: In the not so distant future, Gaia has been decimated by the ravages of Chaos. It devours everything it touches; nothing is safe from it. Yet, somehow 14 earthly spirits have managed to keep the Nothing from destroying the last two cities on Gaia, Los Virtus and Los Dedcus. These two cities sit across from one another, a single bridge betwixt them. Regularly populated it is only a special few that even know something is wrong with their world, that there should be something beyond the invisible barrier created by the spirits. The spirits are the souls of the first creations, Law and Order. They define what is and what isn't. It is because of them in the concentrated form of 14 pieces of a crystallized rose that even the remains of the world exist. But their control is not absolute. Man, after all has free will. However, mankind has become apathetic about its own existence. It is one such man's apathy that has created the current crisis. Deep inside his body lies the petal of Pride, and Chaos slowly encroaches on his soul. Its will is not all powerful; not even Chaos has achieved that, but the man is more than willing to do as Chaos bids in return for some semblance of control over own his life, even if it is to ultimately destroy that life. This young man's mission is to destroy the artifact that the spirits of Virtue and Vice must use to bind the Void, the mythical Rose of Chaos. However, to do so, he must first find and destroy the other 13 petal holders; people who don't even know they hold the petals within their very souls. They, on the other hand, are being led by their petal's desire to be together, to seek each other out and recreate their world in the form it was meant to be. This young man holds within him the petal of Pride, thus carrying with him the idea that he is better than his circumstance. The Nothing used this to corrupt him. Only knowing that they were different, gifts of magic or creation that no one else seemed to have, they could alter reality to their own whims. Suffice to say, this leads to it's own kind of Chaos. Even as they seek one another out, seek to join forces or gather more petals, they are spinning their own fate and that of their world to a conclusion. Will the Nothing win, or humanity? Who is to say they aren't one and the same..... Joining Requirements: If choosing a petal carrier, please check This ListAnd then /or if not submitting for a petal carrier Name Virtue/Vice See next post for available ones Appearance Personality Equipment if Any Description of Ablity bestowed upon them by being a petal bearer- if any. You do not have to be a petal carrier. History Theme song(Optional) Quote(Optional)
Then submit to Jello-Lite via PM

Our Bakumatsu Kyoto roleplay is based on the Meiji Restoration of Japan, in the last days of the Edo period. In 1853, Commodore Perry of the United States Naval forces appeared on the shores of Edo (Tokyo) to propose an open door policy to the Shogun. At the time, the European powers had recently annihilated the economy of China due to the Opium Wars. With this in mind, on top of the fact that the Americans had superior ships, the Tokugawa Shogun had no choice but to accept Perry's policy out of pure fear that if he didn't, Japan would be taken over as a colony of the United States. By accepting the Open Door Policy, the Shogun hoped to keep the foreign trade under control. However, the United States government soon launched a series of unfair treaties in which Japan was used for American benefit. Outraged by the Shogunate's failure to resist foreign imperialism, certain provinces of Japan rebelled in the name of "Sonno-Joi", or "Revere the Emporer, expell the foreigners." The Emporer held the same amount of power as the Shogun, and the balance between them was never at equilibrium. Masterless Ronin from various areas of the nation united under the Sonno-Joi rebellion, and adopted the name of "Ishin Shishi", or "Men of high and enlightened purpose", in an attampt to restore full Imperial rule and remove the Tokugawa Shogunate from the nation's government. Time to choose sides...

Dreamed Blue SkiesOn another Rping site, that's an Rp that has already moved into a sequel thick with 22 pages. Only very, very literate Rpers need apply. It's in a typical fantasy universe, with a detailed political system of four constantly warring kingdoms - wintry lands and scorching desert all fit into this large world I have created especially for Rping use. At the center of the plot is an eventual downfall of society, only potentially saved by steadfast action. I hope to keep it running for a while, but it all depends on you - the potential player. So far we've been stalled because I keep going away during this hectic holiday season. But please, breathe some life into the piece if you're interested.

Spiffy, thanks guys-- I put your RPs up. And if any one sees a guild or an RP on the list that's dead, please post here about it so I can remove it. The list is starting to get a little long, but if they're all up and running then that's great.

Clan Wars: Dawn of the ElementsClan wars is a competetive Roleplaying guild. Upon joining, you'll join up with one of the four clans. Each clan has its own main element- Earth, Sky, Death, and Life- and each element has its own slew of mini elements available to your character, as well as a choice of different warrior classes. You'll cooperate with the other members of your clan in quests to gain points for your clan, which unlock new magic and give your clan an advantage over the others. The storyline progresses as each new quest becomes completed, and each individual member will have his or her own effect on the plot. I run the guild, and I'm a member of this guild (although unfortunately I have no time to actually go here... crying .)

My link is in my sig. The GMDF is a role-playing guild that also welcomes discussion. It is made in the spirit of protecting GAIA. the RP is based around an orginization which uses highly trained mech pilots to battle inside and outside threats to gaia such as hostile aliens and Gaians with a power complex.

Because I accidentally deleted the original first post (grr, since when does "no" mean "yes, delete my post"?) I went ahead and spiffied the thread up. It's separated into four posts and it actually has the RPs IN our guild in the first post now, as well as a description for how to name threads.

Fenrir SongMoon But it no longer has MY RP, Penden! sad Whatchu talking about, willis? eek Post a link/name and I'll post it near the top of the appropriate list since I remember it being there. I reconstructed the thread by taking all the posts in it, so that must have been one I added without posting about it first.

Spirits of GaiaThat would be my game. For those of you who don't know, it's a monster training/battling RP. It has quite a few players, and even more are better. The rule page can be a bit daunting, but it's only because the game has a battle system. whee

Name of Guild RP: Pandangel Plus URL: http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/guilds/index.php?page_mode=4&guild_id=895 (Cost = 100 gold) Genres: Magical Girls/Boys, Shaman King/Inuyasha/Bleach/Yu Yu Hakusho, Fantasy, Ninjas, Fighting, Superheros/Mutants. Also OOC discussions and occasional story writing/art contests. (And yes, it all works out together with little to no confusion and remaining true to canon rules... don't believe me? Check it out!). Other Info: Emphasis on literate responses and kindness to other 'muns' rather than cheating all over the place and starting arguments over who's characters are better/stronger/faster/etc. We're working on a universal ranking system to end the arguments once and for all, but so far peace has prevailed in our cross overs.
