Pirate Dirge Doressa, if you decide to do more of these contests, maybe you could have themes for them...like monochrome [all one color with black or white accents allowed] or Cosplay, fun things like that.

Well, you could do a Cosplay theme where everyone has to dress up as a fictional character as best they can, or you could name specific color themes, maybe an angelic or demonic theme as there are so many items with those...a theme where you have to have a pet on your avatar? Holiday dress up and then name the holiday. It could be just about anything, really. @__@

Cosplaying avatars aren't really my cup of tea, since there isn't a lot of originality involved and Gaian items are geared towards certain ones, like Vash and the Naruto ninjas. You can hear the people groaning every time one comes up on the Avatar Arena. Although, if we limited to only obscure characters, or non-anime characters, that might be fun.
I love the idea of holiday themes, but those would probably be better closer to an actual holiday... which we don't really have until October.
I like the color theme and the pet theme. We could also do an animal theme, since there are sooo many animal items. Maybe an absurd theme, where you try to come up with the silliest avatar?
