Shaking her head, Fuhen gave a small laugh. It had been futile; she knew that John wouldn't catch on to her hint of studying more, and her hopes were dashed. "Or you could, you know, study? That might work just as well, and be less painful," she suggested, though she knew it still wouldn't work. It never hurt to try, right?
"Oh," Fuhen replied, tilting her head to the side. She hadn't thought it through that much; didn't think it would have been such a problem. "But.. then it's unauthorized, right?" she asked the obvious carefully. Not like they hadn't done unauthorized things before, but those usually involved spells and hair-dye fights, not pointy, sharp, potentially deadly objects.

"If we're going to run it ourselves, we should keep it secret, and invite only certain people. Don't want no crazy rival gang memebr comign and stabbing eachotehr up." He sighed and leaned back. "Studying is weakness of Character..." he grummbled and closed his eyes.

Justing laughed quietly at Fuhen's words. "You know it's futile, trying to get him to study... Just like it's impossible to make me study until the day before the subject." He grinned.
"Unauthorized, yes... Safe? With me there, sure. Against the rules? Most likely. Fun and educational? Most definately." Again, his humor and logic seemed to be mixed up. "John... If we didn't allow crazy people in, I'm afraid you wouldn't be able to join..." He laughed again.
Then his tone changed, and he was quick to respond. "Studying is not a weakness of character... If anything, it takes mental strength to make yourself study..." It sounded as if he was defending it... Wonder why?

"Meh, I can still hope," Fuhen replied with a shrug, promptly sticking her tongue out at Justin for a split moment afterwards. Yes, his logic was getting a bit mixed up, and John's comment of studying caught her ears before she could sort it out and say anything.
Within seconds her wand was out, ready to send an inkpot straight to John's head before Justin's words caused her to stop. Almost instantly heat rose and color flushed into her cheeks, Fuhen turning her head away from the both of them to act as though she were insulted by John's words. Well, she was a little bit, so the acting wasn't so hard and the blush only added to the effect.
"Whatever," Fuhen huffed, placing her palms down flat against the table as she proceeded to swing her legs again, refusing to even glance at either of them. The sky must've been fascinating today for her to stare at it so intently.
