Aysel nodded solemnly, face still a little smeared with tears. "Pink pretty," Aysel said quietly. Pink was pretty, but green, the same bright color of her skin was prettier.

The luna moth frowned as her new friend made some sort of sound. It sounded like it hurt whatever it was supposed to be. "'Yan up?" the toddler asked both Yan and her mommy.

Tara sighed and glanced at Narayan. Silly boy didn't have anything on to protect his feet from the sand. Of course his feet would be rather hard to fit... With a shake of her head and smile she knelt down on the sand. Pathetic toddlers were her grand weakness.

Slipping an arm underneath his she picked him up, settling him against her hip before standing up. "Next time, you need to bring some shoes to the beach," the mage said quietly.

Narayan let out a startled squeal of delight as he went up off the ground. Not only was it nicer to look up here, Boobie smelled really good. So he liked it here. Grinning at Aysel, he made a solemn promise to himself to make sure that she didn't get hurt under his watch while he tried to get her to do things she wasn't supposed to do.

Whew. There it was.

Peering out, the vantage helped him figure out the color coordinates of his aunt. Lightly tapping Tara, he pointed off in the general vicinity of... to her right. "Pink!" he exclaimed. It was visible because of the extra adornment of neonness to the plastic covering. He looked over at Aysel, nodding.

See? There it was. He had known all along.

Aysel grinned, good humor not staying away for very long, as 'Yan was also picked up by her mommy. She loved her mommy so much and was happy that she had taken the suggestion.

'Yan pointed out the pink umbrella and Aysel began to pout. He had just gotten up here! "No." The toddler said quietly, knowing her mother wouldn't listen to her but protesting anyway. "'Yan 'tay!
C'ome H'ome 'ith us?"

Tara shook her head as she headed towards the pink -pink- umbrella. "No Aysel, he can't come home with us. Maybe we can invite him over later though." Thank goodness it wasn't too far. Carrying two toddlers was hard. At least she would have stronger upper arms after this.

Stopping in front of the umbrella and the other pink accessories, Tara smiled politely. "Hello?"

Go home? With this one? Tilting his head considering and wondering if that would mean he would get a new room and new toys, he paused. "Selly come home with me?" he propositioned, beaming. Damn, he was good!

"And then I said that she said that... hello? Listen. Let me call you back. Somenes bumping my umbrella and... oh! Narayan! What are you..." blinking her eyes, she peeked out from under, and frowned. "Did he cause you trouble? Did he?" she demanded.

Sleek, asian and pink from the tip of her flowered flip flops to the little lace cap, she got up, hovering slightly and uncertainly as she offered a hand.

"I'm sorry. JD. He spoils that kid and encourages misbehavior... I'm his aunt. But thank goodness he's not biological, or that would make me old. And is this your daughter? Huh... what is her father that she looks like that? Or are you..." she stopped, blinking.

Narayan smiled. Ah. The sweet sound of ditziness. "Selly." he said promptly. "Auntie."

Aysel looked up at her mom hopefully. If 'Yan coldn't come home with her maybe she could go home with him and play. Tara shook her head, while Aysel's good mood and short memory might have avoided the fact that she was in trouble, Tara had not forgotten.

The luna moth's face feel and she shook her head mournfully at 'Yan. "'Aybe 'ater," she said quietly, repeating her mom's answer from before. A pout turned to sniffles as Tara gently lowered Narayan down, setting his feet on top of her own (a little more abuse to them wouldn't matter).

With a frown Tara set Aysel down next to Narayan, and almost immediately the pout dissapeared. "Narayan? He's been fine. We simply have to return home and I'd rather he not get lost." Struggling to hold onto some semblence of polite disinterenst rather than disklike, Tara surveyed the boy's aunt. Pink..Frilly...and aparantely an idiot. Tara tacked on the last assesment as the woman babbled on and on, insulting not only Tara but the woman's own brother and nephew as well.

"I don't see how Narayan has been spoiled, any one would be honored to be related to such a boy regardless of age. As for Aysel's parantange I don't see how that is any of your buisness. It is impertinant, rude and downright foolish to let your tounge run away with you." Tara had to clamp her mouth down shut on the rest of her words, reminding herself sharply the consequences of letting things slip. It got her Aysel didn't it? Okay...bad example...

Aysel watched the exchange with wide eyes, ignoring most of the words she didn't quite understand. Glancing over at 'Yan she was surprised to see him smiling. "Selly, Auntie."

Smiling her own smile, Aysel braved interupting the grown-ups. With a wave, she offered, "'Ello, 'Yan's 'untie!" Maybe they'd stop being so mad with each other now.

Narayan nodded, question already forgotten. He'd get her over later. And then maybe he could get her to do more stuff she wasn't supposed to do! Decidedly happy with _that_ plan, he smiled.

His aunt, on the other hand, was still oblivious. "Is it?" she asked, fascinated. "I am rude, aren't I? Well. I think someone who points that out is ruder." working on child logic, she nodded her head. "I'm curious. So is she adopted too? From what? My brother recieved Narayan from GCorp... hmm... JCorp? Some corporation." with a flick of the hand that signified that it wans't REALLY important, she nodded her head.

"Well. Even if you have to go, they should meet up again. You're her age, aren't you Narayan?" shrugging, she nodded. "Let me give you our address... and you can give me yours too!" Delighted with this plan, she looked down, momentarily distracted by the greeting.

'And aren't you cuuuute!" she cooed. "No wonder Narayan likes you."

His aunt, was causing no end of a headache. It was one thing to chide someone on their rudeness. It was another to drill it into their skull with a rather large sledgehammer. And personally, Tara would much rather avoid that.

Craning her head from side to side, streching tense neck muscles, Tara closed her eyes choosing to follow the simpler path and let it slide. "She is my daughter," came the polite, if irritated response.

Nod and smile. The mage simply agreed, "Of course. I don't have a pen or paper on me though."

Aysel beamed, as the woman bent down to coo at her, posing slightly. "'m Aysel!" she announced to the woman, taking a liking to anyone that called her cute. "'Yan go 'ome 'ow?" the luna moth continued.

((I'm so out of inspiration))

The aunt beamed. "It's okay! I'm sure I have some somewhere. You know what they say, you can never be too prepared... hmm. I think." bending back down and rummaging into a bag, she pulled out a neat leather notebook.

And a fluffy pink pen.

Opening it up to the middle, she scrawled down an address almost legible, and numbers that was a little bit more so. "Now, that's 56, not 65, okay?" she said, handing the paper and everything over.

Distracted, she nodded a little bit more. "I think Narry should, sweetheart. He's looking a little bit pink..." she frowned. "I might have to stop by the chemist, or something. Do elephants get sun burned?"

Such a deep, philosophical question.

At the sound of leaving, Narayan looked solemnly at Aysel. "Visit?"

Tara accepted the notebook, tearing out the page. With a look of ill-concealed disgust the woman took the pink...fluffy...pen.. and quickly wrote down their address as well, thrusting it back at Narayan's aunt. "All right Aysel. Say good bye to Narayan. We'll stay in touch."

Well, if it was time to go than it was time to go. Aysel nodded solemnly at 'Yan. "'kay!" The little girl then leaned fowarward and gave her new friend an awkward hug and kiss on the cheek. "Bye bye!!"

With a wave the two left. As they drifted out of earshot the faint sounds of a calm scolding started.
