Am I the only one here who can't sew? My poor doll will have very few clothes and I'm just hoping the pants I bought on ebay actually fit. On the other hand, he should have a good number of necklaces and bracelets, THOSE I can do.
Actually if anything knows anything that's REALLY super super easy to make that I could try to get started let me know. I don't have a sewing machine but my mom does and I can always borrow my sister's too. Granted... she'd have to show me how to use it. *L* I used to make purses and stuff but everything I did was hand sewn.

Actually, you'll probably want to do a good portion of the sewing by hand, as the seams are so tiny!

Believe me, you're not the only one who can't sew. I'm worried about getting clothes for Dorian....

At least with dolls you can say it's art when you carry them around naked. ^_~
Aw, that reminded me - there was a precious little doll I wanted at an antique store that was only 4$ and I never got it. crying Granted, I didn't want her as much as the Bradley dolls that- ...anyway. o.o Whoo for naked dollfies!

That's very true! whee If anyone gets carried around naked, it'll be Reila. >3 Except then I'd get poked by her nipples of mass destruction. (I already have been stare )

Well it's good to know I'm not the only one with clothing woes, I was beginning to think I was one of the only non-sewing (future) doll owners out there. gonk
I did find out that the boots I bought Kioshi off ebay probably won't get here on time. There was a thread on DoA about the seller being EXTREMELY slow, and the con I wanted to take him to is in a month. Yarg. I really want shoes for him b/c I don't want to get his feet dirty!

Oh well that's VERY good to know then, I'll be a little less worried.
On a similar note I saw a picture of someone's dolls out "playing" in the snow and FREAKED initially. I didn't realize how durable these seem to be. I mean obviously tossing them in the mud would be a bad idea. *L*

I've not really talked to her but I've dealt with her through her store and I've definately gotten a good vibe. And I LOVE her webcomic. I'm such a dork, I just had to order a Schism shirt for my doll and one for myself. We'll match! xd Oh and that is probably one of my favorite doll sites, such great photostories! This is another one of my favorites. I didn't even realize until after I'd ordered my doll that Kitori was an Elf El. *squee* No wonder I loved mine when I first saw him. (He's just not an elf that's all.)
