Renor was about to say something when Rhine came in, and he hurriedly looked down. Rhine still hadn't put his shorts on, so Renor grabbed them with his tail and hurriedly threw them at him before he went out the door. "Put your shorts on at least!" He shouted after him, blushing brightly as he carefully wrapped the bottles in Rhine's shirt, putting them in the sink before grabbing a towel. Rubbing himself with the towel, he left the bathroom again, toweling off his chest and back which were still a little damp, though whether from water or sweat, Renor couldn't tell. He froze at a sudden sound, though; a jiggling doorknob. "Crap. Rhine, hide." He said simply, hurriedly tossing the shirt-wrapped bottles into a corner of the bathroom.

Satine had her hand on the doorknob, and was turning the key in the lock. Opening the door with a click, she walked in, stopping as she saw Rhine standing in her kitchen with a mop. "Rhine... What are you doing here...?" She asked warily; she couldn't see his lower half, as he was behind the kitchen counter.

Satine's eyes narrowed suspiciously. "Mother's day was more then a month ago, block head." She said, flicking her tail in irritation. "What're you two hiding?" She asked, stalking towards the bathroom, and giving Rhine a cold look as she passed him.

Renor froze as well once he heard his guardian's voice. Crap. Was all he thought, as he hurriedly shut the bathroom door with a frantic glance at Rhine. Imposing his body in the doorway, he tried to look innocent while blocking the way into the heated room. "W-We're not hiding anything...!" He said hurriedly, cringing slightly.

Satine had been about to start interrogating Renor, when a sudden movement from the corner of her eye made her turn around. What the hell is he doing...? She thought in irritation, about to pull Renor away from the bathroom door, her eyes still on the boy in the kitchen. When he suddenly moved, she blinked in surprise, and then they were gone without a sound. "Shi-"

Renor fell through the mirror, landing on his face and chest, his feet in the air as he rubbed his chin. "Ouch..." He carefully sat up, cautiously feeling the back of his head; Renor was positive one of the bottles hit his head, he could feel a small lump to attest to it. "What, you think she won't ask when I get back?"

Renor pulled away Rhine's hand, sticking his tongue out. "Both, Rhine. Satine's done it before, she'll know what it looks like. You think she didn't notice anything before? And she'll probably be checking every inch of the apartment, since we weren't exactly master actors. She'll notice the missing bottles, trust me." He groaned, slouching down on the floor, rubbing his temples.

Renor sighed slightly, looking up. "Probably all three, Rhine." He said, grinning sheepishly. "And I wouldn't go too much by the shorts thing. She might not have noticed, but there's a bigger chance of her having noticed it."

He fell silent as Rhine started talking, resting his chin on his knees and staring at the floor. His eyes flicked up to Rhine at the apology, and the corner of his lips quirked up in a slight smile. "I'll get you back, someday. That was painful."

Renor's face went beet red as he looked down, his cheeks flushed as his nose turned cherry red. "Th-That's alright, Rhine. You've got J-Jasmine..." He said, still flushed and embarrassed.

The pink-tinged blush slowly fading from his cheeks, he shrugged jerkily, looking back up at Rhine. "That was before... Before..." He looked down again, the blush returning with a vengeance.
