whats more annoying is people who criticise those people when they were just as bad themselves five minutes ago and alot of you still are.

sn0w1et me hates them too, is exaclty what happens in my life every DAY, i have to live with this poseurs obsessed with BOBD and telling me! hey green day's an awesome band !"!! i love them sooooo muuuuuuuuuuuch! it was the same ******** situation in the concert also, when they sang their AI tracks, everybody sang...when the CLASSICS started, it was reduced to half of the people singing.... that's when you realize when there are the true fans..... and more....... when they sang Knowledge... ^^ thats why i dont wanna go to any of their concerts. Morcades I thought that music was about expression and having fun and getting a message across and enjoying yourself. Some people seem to have forgotten that. i didnt think they had a message, well not one that a 12 year old ought to know about, in fact i'd be worried if you understand the majority of their songs that foes for all the teenie, i think thats why its annoying.

Dookie Gurl Dont you hate those guys who say their 'big' Green Day fans, but are really lying. EXAMPLE:My best friend's little sister Jordan says she likes Green Day but only knows them by American Idiot.plus she thought they were a new band! eek Green Days been out before she was even born! And i really hate it when i sing a Green Day song out loud and she tries to like mumble along with the words. She doesnt know Green Day and she shouldnt like them cause she wants to be cool. whenever i go to my best friend's house shes always following us.She says shes a Green Day fan but isnt. If you dont know GD then dont pretend you do. ..............teenybopper Just like my friend (who's a hardcore Green Day fan, has all the cds, knows the quotes, you get the picture)'s cousin. she pretends to like Green Day because a guy at her school likes Green Day. And she only knows Idiot, the Boulevard, and Good Riddance.

I'm 13 and I know what most of the songs are about, it's obvious.
You don't need to have experienced the topic of a song to enjoy it and age shouldn't matter. They can listen to and enjoy the music even if they don't fully understand. I listened to Basket Case and Longview and such when I was 3, do you think I even had the faintest idea what it was about? No, but I liked it and knew some of the lyrics that fell into my small vocabulary and made up jibberish to the rest of the words I didn't know. But I surprised myslef at the words I did know...
As I read somewhere, people are getting so lost in all the other fans that they forget about what really matters which is the music.
I think it's stupid to let those "fans" get to you too much because they will stop liking them in a few months and we will be left with the true fans and not the trend whores. Yes they can be annoying but only if you let them get to you. Which is at times a very easy thing.

People think I'm like that because they're unde trhe impression that only "punks" like Green Day. So what if I wear pink, I'm still freakin' obsessed with Green Day . . . and I like Billie Joe, but that's a totally different story (he's hot, the end)
A lot of people back on the AOL board thought I was just a bimbo who listens to Green Day to impress a guy (my boyfriend who's also a huge fan). FYI: I became a fan a few weeks before my first date with him, and it was then I found out he liked them.

Ok do you wanna hear what pissees me off the most is
1. When I an singing Bolivard Of Broken Dreams people try to sing along and then say the don't know the word to "I walk alown" 2. People around me, when a Green days song comes on the radio they are like yeah a Simple plan song 3. people say they are posers and that they are just trying to be like Good Charoltte and simple plan4. Jesus od suburbia, city of the daned, I don't care, dearly beloved, and tails from another brocken home is the same song they are not track 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
5. same thing for Homecoming
6. I HATE ******** MOROONS THAT DO ALL OF THE ABOUVE...
sweatdrop I am ranting and raving again I will shut up now. But any way I love Green Day blaugh heart
