**pokes PookieNoodle** Oi! It's me, the chick from Sakura-con who let you molest her naked dolls in the middle of the dealer's rooms!
I'm actually kicking aroudn the notion of making a BJD cat....I mean, not like a doll with a cat head and 'paws,' but one that actually moves like a cat, has a tail that works right, and everything. 'Cause my girl, Wren, wants one. And those little plushies just aren't 'real' enough, she says. whee

crying I just gave my doll burn scars! I was adding the joints and smoothing some chips, and when i went to take it out of the oven, I dropped it on the heating element! At least I got it out quick, with out any sticking to the oven, and with out severe damage to the body. Ive already gotten the two really dark areas entirely off, but if I sand away the lighter one, I'll have to add more clay to the pec. sweatdrop

I was actually debating if I wanted it to have real fur or not - if so, it could be like a pull-on suit. But if I sculpted light fur onto it....that would be cool, and make it look much more BJDish.

I just realized I more than likely won't have my doll for the convention. *sigh* At minimum it'd be 35 days before they ship him and that is the BARE minimum. I ordered him the 17th of this month and the con is the 27th of next, so yeah... I'm doubtful. *sigh* Ah well.

*squeel* I just got back from Animazement yesterday and it was WONDERFUL! As where last year I don't remember seeing any dolls there were a lot this year! It was Key's first time meeting any other dolls and he of course had an amazing time as well. I think he totally fell in love with a beauty white El named Nanashi. I've thought about getting another El in the future but for some reason I just think an El/El or El/Lishe pairing is sort of odd... so I don't know. And besides, I'm pretty sure my future Shiwoo will end up winning Key's heart...

Ugh, I hate Tennessee. Our conventions are so small that they don't have anything at all. I saw exactly one BJD and it was a Luts body with a volks head. Other than that, nobody else knew what they were. Next year, I'm going to bring my SD and we are going to cosplay together as Chii and Plum from Chobits.

so most of us realize that anime expo is coming up, yes? and those who are attending think, oh well, theres going to be doll meet-ups so I might as well bring my doll(s)...
and then theres me... 'who should I cosplay as? well, somehow I have to incorperate Adriyn! -Legato/trigun thing, long explaination- well, that only covers 1 day, so who else should I cosplay as? this time I need to include Lena! -angelic layer Icchan+Athena-' now theres the problem of the third day (only going 3 days), and this is an unsolved problem... I would like to go as Howl, but do I have time to make Lena a sophie costume? NO! so now I'm feeling bad, cuz I'm too lazy/have no time for them... oh well... a casual day for them I suppose? sweatdrop

Well I know at Anime North (Toronto) there was a SDC Kaede I believe...I think my boyfriend had to drag me away from drooling in amazement...she was gorgeous...
There was also a BJD get together/Panel and a 'Blythe Ball', Maybe there will be something more next year...
Edit: I saw a cute picture of an Inuyasha cosplay, it was a mini and someone had sewn a white-fur wig and made little ears...
