"Well, ok! Just hold on one minute please..." Fia quickly soaped and rinsed the two mugs, then set them upside-down to dry. "Ok, I'm all set!
"You know, you're right, we should get to know the products! Besides, our boss hasn't even visited yet...and if she did show up, she'd see a pretty shop with us busily testing one of the games! At least, I hope that's how she'd view it..." Fia was quickly looking forward to Fault's idea. It would be fun, yet still have to do with working, and it'd be productive, while still being entertaining!
"Do you want to play this game?" Fia picked up the game Fault had been looking at. It was a PS2 game, which was lucky for them, because Fia had spied a television set with a PS2 in the storage room when she had been getting decorations. "Come on, let's go! We'll know if there are any customers, because the bell on the door will ring. We're all set!"

Fault grinned as Ria agreed and she hoped the game would be fun. She followed Fia to the storage room which was filled with all sorts of old promotional materials and other such junk and wonders. A worn out sofa was sat in front of the tv and a few cardboard display cut outs were thrown over one end. Fault left the door open to make sure they wouldnt miss the noise of the bell if any customers were to enter the store.
Fault set about moving the cut-outs from the sofa to a corner of the room where they wouldnt bother them. She grabbed some cushions from another chair and put them on the sofa, this place was messy, at least the cushions could be on the sofa. 'Looks like we're ready' Fault grinned, sitting on the sofa.

(One question: what game are we playing???)
Fia smiled and leapt backwards onto the sofa, causing it to release a huge cloud of dust. "Oops, ha ha ha!" She laughed and bounced up and down, clearing out the rest of the dust, and waiting for it to settle. "Oh wait, gotta put in the game!" Fia got back up and opened the box she still held in her hand.
"Ok, just open this flap, slide it out...voila!" She held up the colorful disc for one triumphous moment, then turned on the television. While balancing the game on her left hand, she operated the television's controls to get it to the right setting, and then turned on the the PS2 by the TV. Fia opened it, and popped in the game. "All right, we're ready to go!"
The television flashed a few spacy scenes, with some pretty start-up sounds, then went on through the "opening scenes" of the game. It seemed to be some sort of RPG game. Maybe it was an action-adventure game?

((Fault, where are you? Guess you're busy...anyways, I decided to make the game an action thing, where you have to fight monsters and stuff...^_^))
Fia clapped her hands in delight, and jumped back onto the couch. She picked up her control and pressed the small Start button. The screen flashed with that impressive zooming sound that all games seemed to have, and then it went right on to the menu. There were little werewolves running around, with knights, warriors, and elves chasing them! This would most likely turn out to be an interesting game...
"Ok, Fault, I'll just set this up and then we can play real soon..." She maneuvered around the screen with the arrows and the X button, choosing the option for "Multi-player" and selecting 2...
"Hey, I'm gonna choose adventure, is that ok? I don't like one-on-one battles or anything...because I always lose, hee hee!" She clicked the X-button again, and the screen made weird beeping noises...Oh no, could something be wrong? Nevermind, it's just the game doing something strange... "Alright Fault, we're ready to begin! Oh wait, still more stuff to go through...I think we're supposed to pick characters now!"
Fia used the arrow buttons on her control to select an elven girl with a sword and a bow and arrow. The virtual girl was pretty, with long black hair, and a face that was both young and wise at the same time (you know how elves are). Her green felt cap matched the rest of her exquisite clothing perfectly. Her dress was beautiful yet practical, which was obvious even though it was just a game, for there were dots of emerald-looking gems, and gold thread woven into the hem and sleeves. The boots the elven girl wore were a chocolate color with green leaf designs. Sigh...wish I could look cool like that! Then she waited for Fault to choose her own character.

((so sorry revising was taking over))
Fault moved the glowing yellow square over a different character, this one was a girl with mouse-brown hair and a white and purple dress on, her hair was tied in two loose braids at either side of her head and she had a silver hook shaped staff. 'She must be a magician or somthing' fault thought. all the magic users a school used staffs and wands, so mabye it was the same with the game.
'Okay so i pick this character' , she pressed on the cross button as she saw Fia had done anad was answered with a twinkling sound from the television.
The screen changed and went to a picture of a forest while the screeen announced the game was 'Loading' across the bottom of the image. Fault looked at the screen wondering what would happen next.

Fia watched and waited as Fault chose her character. Ooh, a magician...pretty! The screen moved on to the forest scene, showing trees of all kinds; oaks, maples, cherry trees, redwoods...there was no limit! It was like a magical forest, because there was no way it could have been natural! At the bottom, there was a blue bar that slowly grew to the right, indicating that the game was loading.
Finally, the screen went black, then reappeared as a scene with a castle in the same forest. The structure was stone, with large marble blocks, and very old. Standing next to it was another magician, in a standard blue robe with stars embroidered on it. He even had a pointed hat and wand! What was weird was the fact that he wore purple and yellow sneakers...maybe the creators of the game had been messing with it...

((Well, today's our last day...I guess we should post good-bye stuff...))
Suddenly, the TV screen went black, but the TV itself was still on. "Oh no, something must have been wrong with the game...oh well..." Fia got up off the couch and scooted over to the PS2 on her knees. She pushed the eject button, and the game disc slid out. She took out the game, then shut off the console. It took her a minute to find the case for the game, but with Fault's help, they retrieved it from under the couch. Yuck, it's dusty down there...
Fia brushed off her skirt, picked up the game, and went back into the main shop. Sadly, they had gone through the whole three weeks with only one customer, but at least they got one...and they had helped her pretty well, so that counted for something. Fia walked over to the front of the aisles near the counter, and located the empty gap where the game had been. She slid in the box, and plopped down on the chair behind the counter. "Well, it's been fun! Hopefully I'll see you again around campus..." Fia hadn't brought anything with her to work, since it was pretty low maintenance, so she didn't have to pack anything up...

Fault sat staring at the completely dead screen for a short while, it was a shame the game was broken. It did explain why the machine looked like had'nt been used for a while anyway. After helping Fia find the case she had managed to lose they found it under the very dusty and dirty sofa.
Fault brushed the dirt and dust off her dress. She closed the door to the storeroom and turneed out the light. It was the end of the last day and Fault couldnt believe it was over so soon. She hoped she would see Fia around school, she had no other friends at ria yet. 'it was great fun, Hope to see you too'Fault waved to Fia until she was out of sight round the window. Then fault hoovered the floor, and when the mall was completely dead, she turned out the lights in store and locked up for the last time, posting her keys through the letter box.
