well for me its a close fight between gaara and sasuke but i say gaara becouse as bad as sasuke got becouse his past, gaara got seriously messed up. I mean everyone hated him/feared him including his family and the only person who did love him, he killed. Now that is Bad.

I think Gaara had the worst past, because not only did everyone hate him, but the only person that he thought liked him tried to kill him. That has to be awful. And Sasuke had a normal like for a while, so his isn't as bad, but it is horrible that his brother killed everyone and left him. But he had the option to make friends and stuff all over the place and just ignored it, so thats his own fault...Naruto's is bad, but not that bad.

mew~to me it seems like everyone in the anime has some sorta bad past =o=;
Naruto-shunned
Sasuke-see parents being murdered
Sakura-made fun of
Kakashi-comrade died
Gaara-demon in him
Neji-mark and his parents died
Lee-made fun off
Hinata-...too shy? not enough confidence?

naruto for sure......sasuke had a family.......gaara still has a family...naruto didnt doesnt and (by the way he acts) never will.....gaara still has a brother and sister.......sasuke still has a brother.....naruto doesnt have any family

i'd say gaara cause he found out that the only person that loved him actually hated him and tryed to kill him.

i'd have to say gaara had the worst past. i mean the whole country feared/hated him. and when he tried once to help someone, [ie bringing the girl medicine] he was completely shot down. not to mention the one guy he trusted betrayed him in the end.

I'm going to say gaara on this one. He never had anyone that loved him and the only person he thought loved him tried to kill him so gaara killed him. Then the tells him he was never loved and his mom never wanted to have him but the villiage made her a sacrifice. Sasuke had it bad but he always had people that looked up to him. Naruto had people that loved him so it helped him. So did sasuke.

Naruto - The whole village hates him, Sicne he's sealed with a monster that killed alot of people.
Gaara - Killed his own mother, his father tryied to kill him numerous times.
Sasuke - His -perfect- older brother killed his parents and his whole clan.
In my opinion, they all had a bad one equally.

I would have to say Naruto, because he's never had a real family, everyone looked at him as if he was the monster fox, and most still do..but like others have said he doesnt have a family and hasn't heard anything about them so far...i think lol

I dont really think sasuke's is that horrible.. I mean yeah, his brother killed everyone, but at least nobody hates him!
I think gaara has the worst past...[sry naruto] because i mean his dad has tried to kill him countless times, his mom died giving birth, his brother and sister are dead afraid of him, everyone hated him as a child, he cant even SLEEP, and he doesnt find anyone thats nice to him until naruto comes along... i____i ITS OKAY GAARA! *hugs* <<<>>>;;;

Crystal DemonFox All three have really cruddy pasts. But I have to say, I have the most sympathy for Gaara. I cried when I learned about his past...

Gaara has the worse past; because learning that your whole village, including family, wants you dead as a toddler. It really takes a toll on a little kid. I mean jeez, his father possesed Gaara through ninjutsu with that demon just so he could kill it through Gaara.
