The remains of a old spell book lay there. It hadn't ever been alive, but that hadn't stopped the monster book of monsters from matting with it. It had clibbings from all sorts of books and hand written spells. The cover, which had had years of spell-o-tape put on it to hold it together read "Property of James Potter and Sirius Black, read and die". The only damage to the book was that it'd been in this old attic. The monster book of monsters hasn't damaged it at all while matting with it. The little one ran up and nuzzled the old spell book. The page it was open to was a set of instructions James had writen about his own quidditch moves. The book opened and showed Harry it was written in the same hand writting.

He carefully picked up the book, "Wow....I had no clue Dad and Sirius wrote this...this must be really old." He brought it back over to where he was sitting and started repairing it, "But that doen't explain what injured you all.."

One of the medium sized books wiggled over and flopped open to a page containing an encantation which would allow one of them to speak english. --ooc, meant for the tiniest book--

Harry looked at it, "Wouldn't hurt.." He pulled out his wand and uttered the spell.

The book glowed and shuttered.
"it was the house elf...." it was shocked by it's own voice.
"he did this cuz we were messy...."

He blinked twice before narrowing his eyes, "You mean to say...that Kreature did this?!"

The book nodded it's top cover.
"We were messy... so he hit us... he didn't know the thing he hit us with would damage us..."
The book looked at a magical item it didn't understand.
"But when he found that out he started hitting us more..."

Harry picked it up, not knowing what it was, "I shoul just box the thing up and send it to Cuba.."

A magical map opened up before the book could ask and showed it where cuba was.

He couldn't help but laugh at the display, "Wow...which one of you did that?"

The book closed and smiled up at harry. One of the spawned books was a magical world atlas.

The little book seemed to grin. "We're all on different subjects. There's a book back there on charms... that wont be widely known for years yet."
