As the man produces two blades from a necklace, Trei finds himself wondering if perhaps he should have DRAWN his sword rather than merely untie the still-sheated blade from his back...However, the man HAD said to fight full out. Well, he'd give the man his wish...
However, first our hero has to deal with the task at hand...As the man shouts his words, Trei dashes forward, his own blade arcing out of the black wood of its sheath and flying through the air behind him. As the man swings his blade, Trei leaps straight up, his wings giving a single powerful flap to lift him a good six feet in the air, well above the wind-slash.
The man wanted to play with range? Now it's Trei's turn...With a grin, he swings his own blade at a downward diagonal, sending a three foot crescent of cutting energy straight for his opponent's shoulder at a MUCH closer range than the wind slash had come from...

The man was indeed fast, but Rovell had to be faster. The incoming crecent wave was aimed slightly off of where Rovell stood. Reacting quickly, Rovell spun in the direction the wave flew just seconds before it connected with his shoulder. The blade went sailing just inches past him, and Rovell had succeeded in dodging the attack. Time for a repraisal...
Charging towards his opponent, Rovell stopped 4 feet from where he stood, spun once to gain momentum, lept off his right leg, and aimed a leaping tornado kick at his opponent's chin with his left leg. If it missed, Rovell would follow up with a sideways somersault and extend both legs to aim a double kick at his opponenent's chest.

Trei remains unphased as his opponent dodges his attack, preparing for his next move rather than worrying about previous moves.
As his opponent charges forward, Trei flips his grip on Ryuujin and reinforces this grip with his left hand, bringing the sword-catcher forward to intercept the man's kick. With the speed of the man's movement, the metal spike would most likely embed itself in his foot... However, rather than leave it at that Trei makes his own move, scissoring his right leg down to intercept the man's free leg while bringing his left leg up and around to try and deliver a swift, vicious knee to the base of the man's spine... -edit in black- Spells: T3-1 Vit-19 Qi-5 Charge- //

Our host could be found to the northwest, not far outside the stadium walls and the roars of the crowd they harbored. He lay in the grass with both hands placed behind his head, tiger optics watching darkening clouds roll by as the night rode in under tow.

It seemed his opponent was alot faster than anticipated. Rovell had to increase his own speed to gain an edge on his opponent, but he needed to get out of the predicament he was in. His kick was redirected towards a metal spike on his opponent's weapon, and he had a knee attack aimed for his back. Not wanting to risk paralysis from a back injury or a hole in his foot before his actual fight, Rovell turned himself to take the kick in his side rather than his back. His plan worked, but he still took a hit to the gut, and the metal spike, though it missed his foot, grazed his ankle. Using the force of the knee, Rovell pushed himself off of his opponent, and performed a series of one handed back handsprings to gain distance from his opponent. He temporarily grabbed his ankle after landing on the last handspring to inspect it. It didn't seem like the wound was going to hinder him to much during the fight, but he came to a realization. Speed was going to be the key in this fight. Getting to his feet, Rovell assumed a neutral stance which would allow the flow of mana to increase, and allowed his swords to channel their energies into him. The progress would be gradual, but with this, he could increase his own speed and reaction time, and gain an advantage over his opponent. This effect was known as "Moira's Promise". Once the flow started, Rovell assumed a deffensive position and awaited for his opponent's next move. Still hoping that his injured ankle won't bring him to a disadvantage Ability Guage Mana guage: 90/100 Physical guage: 50/50 Vitality guage: 85/100 Special: Promise [for each return post, one letter turns blue which indicates how potent the effect of Moira's Promise is. At level one, he is slightly faster, and with each gaining level, his speed as well as his reactions increase.]

Even as the man is getting to his feet, Trei is preparing the next offensive...they both land at about the same time, and Trei immediately rushes in AS HIS OPPONENT is regaining his stance. From about three feet away, Trei's blade whips around in a horizontal arc, the cruel edge aiming to bury itself in the muscles of the man's shoulder...

Nothing too fancy was needed to help in blocking this attack. Merely holding up his right blade, Rovell had fended off the attack, but the force of the weight of the man's attack caused shooting pain to go through Rovell's ankle, and his hand wavered slightly. He had no time to heal the wound, he would just have to bear it for now. Shifting his weight on his other leg, Rovell aimed a roundhouse kick at the winged man's side. Ability Guage Mana guage: 90/100 Physical guage: 50/50 Vitality guage: 85/100 Special: Promise ((We're going to assume his left foot is the injured one, since I didn't specify which was grazed by the spike.))

Trei sidesteps the kick and leaps back, a vicious grin flickering across his features.
"Time to play the game MY way..." Suddenly, he claps his hands together in front of him, and his aura flares wildly...a T1 spell, just for the hell of it.
What happens is simple, but beautiful in its simplicity. A wave of Darkness emanates from Trei's body (Darkness being the Absence of light, not the element.), sweeping out to cover anything in the area, including the combatants. However, Trei's opponent will notice something unusual...While TREI disappears, his opponent will have taken on a soft red glow, causing just him and the weapns he holds to stand out amidst the darkness...
From the depths of the shadows, Trei's blade swishes...Time for the party to truly begin...

" Oh god, a game of "Hide and Seek" is it? Why is it that my opponents always seem to underestimate me?" Truth be told, Rovell grew tired of his opponents "second-guessing" him, and taking his abilities for granted. True they've never seen him in combat, but neary every opponent he's fought against has thought of him being "insignificant" in some way. Still, what was surprising was the fact that he himself was starting to glow. It was not due to the fact that his weapons were feeding their energies into him at maximum strength. Had that happened he'd be glowing a soft hue of blue at this moment. No, this was a sign that he'd been marked. He may not be able to see his opponent, but his opponent had a clear view of him from every angle. However, Rovell wasn't too much at a disadvantage. He'd faced similar scenarios with previous encounters, and they usually were delt with the same way. To play it safe, Rovell decided to hold on to one blade for defensive purposes. The other he held out and let it fall. Just before it hit the ground, Rovell chanted with a strong voice, " Oppugno" The free blade stopped just inches above the ground and flew off in a random direction at a high speed. As it flew into the darkness, Rovell could see it's blue light blink as the flying blade darted arround and "searched" for the creator of this dark abyss. If it didn't strike his opponent and dispell the darkness, the man would have to defend himself against the blade's attack, and Rovell would at least know where the man stood. Ability Guage Mana guage: 90/100 Physical guage: 45/50 [degen: 1 point per return post for as long as the Oppungo ability is in effect.] Vitality guage: 85/100 Special: Promise

Trei grins at the man's counter. At least he wasn't afraid of the dark. The man's words, too, drift through the shadows...but the man is wrong. Trei's attack was not a sign of apathy or Trei's view of his opponet...rather, it was merely a shield for Trei to hide behind as he prepared his next move.
The man can see his blade, but so too can Trei...And, since the blade was moving in an erratic and random pattern, the weapon would be easy enough to avoid. Meantime, Trei kneels down, slipping his blade into the soft dirt of the ground and channeling his energies through a natural converter/amplifier. What would happen would be just as simple as the original attack...As his opponent watched the whizzing blade, A two-foot long spike of piercing energy would launch up from the ground behind the man, aimed to pierce straight through the base of his spine with deadly, silent accuracy...

Ryu leans up against the wall appearing from a visage within the picture of a woman and an outline of the persona Ryu. A simple sigh caresses his lips while he observes the area.

The only thing that everyone is crazy about in this damned place is the title of supreme fighter. Seriously! As if becoming the best fighter here from all corners of the world isn't bad enough, there's the unfortunate situation that everyone is either after the prize money, or just after bragging rights so that they can be admired in this arena, out of all places.
Now, what is wrong with the people here?
To Snow, everything that can be added up to explain something, usually never works out in the long run. Unlike most of the fighters here who, as they've already paid for the tournament matches, Snow had instead decided to wing it and observe, rather than to jump right into a fight. There's too much blood spilling here - not enough peace and charity.
Though, a little hypocritical that he was actually opting for peace and charity for no apparent reason, considering his own equipped weapons and....never mind.
All in all, Snow too is a fighter. But to take some light skirmishes for today, he'll decided whether or not to join the tournament that everyone is crazy for when he finishes some warm ups. That is, if there is anyone here to spar against......is there?

Ryu goes over to the bar at the end of the stadium and orders himself a drink, apparently, he feels truly bored around here.
