Has anyone else heard of how Tim Burton is going to do a remake of Alice in Wonderland? Well, I think it's quite apparent that he'll film it the way that Lewis Carroll intended it to be viewed.

And Marilyn Manson is to be the Queen of Hearts.
Tim Burton is making it?with Marilyn Manson? now that is a combonation I have to see blaugh

Nope!!!!!!! read all the posts, it's complete rubbish (word of the day).
it is? damn, that would have been a great movie

It has more of a spirited away/ wizard of oz feel (ghosts and psychotic things)

Example:

In the Flower Patch the Rose Queen plans to devour Alice instead of singing a song, and the Cheshire Cat interacts with Alice in both the real world and the fake one

Oh my word! Have I been dropped kicked into heaven? It sounds wonderful! I would be.. the mad hatter, or Alice herself.. Oh, how sad. It was too good to be true. I apologize, I had neglected to read the other posts.

I have read most of Alice in Wonderland.
I also have read The Looking Glass Wars. It is sort of an alternate telling of AiW. I definately recommend it!

I know Marilyn Manson is going to be the Queen of Hearts in a new Alice in Wonderland movie but I'm not sure if Tim Burton with be doing it.
I'll have to search into the rumors more.

I utterly adore Alice in Wonderland. The book, anyway, the Disney version is too simplified and not weird enough. xd I really don't think they got the feel for it. I want to play American McGee's Alice, but I can't find it anywhere. . . .

I'm also writing a sort of Alice offshoot-- one in which Alice goes back to Wonderland, gets lost, and her older sister Lorine (who is far more sensible and quite disinclined to believe in 'silly' things like Wonderland, as well as having one blind eye) has to go in and retrieve her. She sort of goes mad, though, and Alice gets sick, and all sorts of twisted gothic things that a fourteen-year-old girl oughtn't to think of, much less write. sweatdrop

I watched the movie only once, though. It's pretty cute ;D And I also owned my own copy of Alice through the Looking Glass in VHS. Planning to read the books, though.
