My favorite of season 2 (I got that CD for christmas and not season 1 yet) is I Hate You by Get Set Go... my other favorite is Grace by Havenevik. I Hate You is just so fun and Grace... makes me think. I don't know... How to Save a Life and Chasing Cars are also good songs...

How to Save a Life by The Fray was a good song from there. And also Naked as We Came by Iron and Wine.

I've got How To Save A Life by The Fray and Fools Like Me by Lisa Loeb.
I might as well try to listen to the other songs posted above. They seem to be good too. =]

Susanna & The Magical Orchestra's cover of Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart" and the two Nellie McKay songs that were played season 1 (David and The Dog Song). Plus, who doesn't love the theme song?

Let me start off by saying, when I first FIRST first heard the Fray's How to save a life, I loved it. But then again, that was when everyone was still stuck on their cable cars.
I loved it even more when it was featured on Grey's but now, I think that it's more than overplayed. Everywhere I turn, it's there. I do like the song and the meaning, but I hate the fact that it's over played.
If you really like the fray and grey's, you would know that a great song of theirs to be on Grey's would be Look after you && She is. The absolute best being: TRUST ME.

I love all the music on the show generally, but it is a lot of time to go find all the tracks, download them or listen to clips and determine if I want to buy them etc.
There are two programs I recommend if you are interested in browsing the music.
One program is Songbird, its like a musical itunes web browser - It is made by mozilla and is a cool concept.
The other one i like is called Blogmusik. A lot of Grey's fans are apparently online and post music from the show to share with everyone. Blogmusic gives you a digital ipod where you can browse for the song you want and stream it from their website. Very very cool.
ok thats all... sorry for length

I'm really loving James Blunt's "High" now after watching the episode where the quints are born. It's such a beautiful song.
