DM_Melkhar Ghost King Are there any guild banner/sigs going around? i just think it would be a really cool idea I would and I have a question how do you make items you guys are confusing me on that part and the every body read one book then discuss it would be good though that would meen I would have to read 2 or 3 books at a time but I am good at doin stuff like that.

It's a good idea, but it'd take time to put it into development since hardly anyone is bothering with the guild currently.

I'm sorry I've been away, but my suggestion officially is to reduce the announcements to just a few posts, and/or to simplify their titles. It discourages reading when the board is cluttered with lots of characters as titles for the threads. If specific examples of how this could be done are needed, let me know and I'll assemble some individual ideas. smile

Talencia I'm sorry I've been away, but my suggestion officially is to reduce the announcements to just a few posts, and/or to simplify their titles. It discourages reading when the board is cluttered with lots of characters as titles for the threads. If specific examples of how this could be done are needed, let me know and I'll assemble some individual ideas. smile

I have an idea, but wanted to be sure it would be accepted before starting the thread.
In one of the public forums, they have threads that really are just meant to make it easy for people to post, yet interesting enough to rise above the lowly bump. So here is my suggestion for OUR board.
How about a thread where we go through the letters of the alphabet by posting names. Not just any names, though, of course, but names in fantasy books we've read, or want to read. This would require not just the name, but the name of the book and the author. It'd be a nifty way to share book titles and authors as well. Plus, it means GOLD earned!
So what do y'all think? "Character Names A-Z"? If this works, we might even be able to get away with "Places A-Z" as well!

can there be a forest for rping also? it could also be good for starting a rp, and it can be located around the golden dragon inn.

Acorna (yes, I know, it's sci-fi, n ot fantasy, but I'm re-reading them right now and working off the cuff, lol!) Someone else SHOULD post the next letter... a B. Then the next letter could go back to me or to whoever happened to catch it. If it's not been touched for a few days, I reserve the right to post after myself, but the general idea is to take turns and never post after yourself. After we hit Z, we start over again at A, generally avoiding the previously used names. Make sense? Does this still work?

Oh right! Heh, sorry.
Yeah, we can do that. However, I thought that what I set up was pretty nifty too don't you think? It'd be useful, and at least that idea came from yours.
You can set up that game if you like? It's better for others to get involved with their own threads rather than just me making them all the while.

It'd be helpful if you an put the names of the characers next to the names of the Gaians in the Dragon of Gold Inn the way that you did in the ruins of Ashamr and if both could be updated. Especially with the length of the Inn thread. If we just had to look at the spot on the first page... 3nodding

This sounds odd coming from me 'cause I'm not one to post pics of my self on Gaia, but the majority of other guilds that I'm in have a thread so that you can post IRL pics of yourself. *shrugs* If you like it great, if not, that's fine too.

Hi Mel! I'm finally here so I'll suggest something.
How about having a question of the week or something here eh? It could be a sticky like in the CV guild we are both in. Remember Mel? It could be about what the guild is about and the questions could stay new for only a week but anybody could answer them even after the week is past. How about it?
