Golden eyes narrowed a little but she soon got bored and started to wash her paws. She was good at making things look hugely different to what was actually happening.
She still tried to hear what was being said but them lowering their voices made things somewhat more difficult. She let out a small snarl though it wasn't directed at anyone. She was just annoyed, she was being ignored, blatently!

Nodding once more, Naraka finally moved away, his lack of interest as well as his turn in stature showing that the conversation had ended. Soon enough it would begin, taking place probably at the nightly meeting that he had with his brother. As he thought that over, he let his eyes skim over the adult lioness. Shaking his head once more, he got the feeling of overwhelmness, and moved back a bit from the group.
Ra would be there soon enough, and until than he could entertain himself.
And thus he did, as he caught sight of a deadly snake that was slithering away from them. Smirking, he watched it path and debated taking his chances, the others forgotten.

"Yes indeed little Firekin." Ripuka grinned, and flicked her paw to scatter the sand and ruin the patterns she had carved upon it's golden surface. "You are a wise one to wish to learn." The cub almost reminded Ripuka herself at that early age, so eager to find out about the Goddess and do everything in her power to please her parents and Finar-si.
"The desert may seem like a barren and harsh land, but we alone have adapted to living here. No other could do this." She got up then and stretched her lithe body. It was time to find some shade and sleep.
"If you ever need a question answered then seek me, child of The Blood." She swivelled her head around to gaze at the white lioness. "That goes for you too White One." She moved closer and dipped her head, mouth parting slightly to whisper words only for the rare-pelted cub. "Some may think you strange, a bad omen. But I believe you were born white for a reason. Perhaps you are special, for nothing happens without a reason. Do not let the others of the Pride let you lose confidence in yourself." She was helping the cub only because she saw something within her.
Promise.
For in these two young females she could see hope for the future and that pleased her greatly. She may have been getting senile but she was wise and that one good eye of hers was still as sharp as a tack.
With this said she loped off across the dunes towards the cavern that had homed her all those years ago.
