So now it was round two. Wendy was not going to leave the park without capturing herself a little friend. This time she had a plan. She swirled around the bubble tea and opened the lid carefully she used her thumb to get some suction into the straw and managed so fish out several tea pearls. Wendy spit these onto the ground close together and took a few steps back into the bushes. She then placed the bubble tea right in front of her and waited.

Out from the bushes across from her a small Rachisu came bouncing out of the bushes. “Awe,” Wendy cooed quietly under her breath. The Rachisu made its way over to the pearls, sucking each of them up into its mouth and making a happy little noise searching for more. When it’d found all of them it scoped out its prize: the bubble tea Wendy had planted in front of her. The Rachisu squealed happily and began to suck the tea right out through the straw and that’s Wendy found her chance to act. “Gotcha!” she said as she scooped the animal and it’s drink up holding them close to her. The Rachisu wriggled in her arms but Wendy managed to get it’s straw back into the creatures mouth. It settled down sipping the bubble tea happily. Today Wendy was victorious.

Wendy turned the animal over. She inspected it thoroughly though she couldn't tell if it were male of female herself. It was on the smaller side and generally smaller animals did tend to be female. So she decided to go with that. "I Think I'll call you Artemis, after the goddess of the hunt. You seem like a fierce little thing. Maybe you'll help me train for combat." Wendy spoke to her creature calmly. It settled down a bit. Wendy supposed it liked her well enough. " Good then, it's settled, you come with me and I'll get you some supplies." She carried her new prized possession off back to the pet store to pick some things out for her new friend.
