Ya, I have been keeping it in a pony tail for months now. The bangs still aren't even long enough to reach the back of my hair. tisk tisk

Lol. It would look pretty bad if I did that. Plus I don't really like to do that stuff with my hair any more because it gets expensive buying gel and pomade and such

this was back when I still had my mohawk though. Gel is horrible when it comes to that. I mean... in this humidityI will add a coat of gel on my hair if it is in spikes. But I don't use it as a main thing. mostly cuz it doesn't hold and doesn't stay in place long enough to harden.

A hair dryer or a fan works wonders.
And whenever I put up a hawk, I use hairspray or Knox gelatin. Some kids use mixed egg whites or sugar water.
Humidity kills a hawk and gel is one of the worst things for it since it's so heavy and does more bad than good.

I used egg whites once and didn't use it again. I don't know why. it just wasn't that great to me. Sugar water I never tried though. Hmm... I tried the hair dryer but it was a bit of a b***h trying to keep it positioned, hold the hairdryer, make sure the bottom doesnt start to fall apart with the smaller hair, make sure the top doesn't do the same. Ect.

Ive put lemon juice on my hair before~ it brings out the colour and makes it all shiney...but this is for blondes, i dunno about the other hair colours
