Noise_Demon Tiny_Kitsune Noise_Demon Loli Mitsu Noise_Demon Well since Shounen ai translates as Boy Love it does suit it. Many people abuse the word by calling some series that when they aren't even close to Shounen ai. And by Boy it doesn't necessarily mean a child if thats what you're saying.
What I hate is people who try to correct the fans when they arent even right about it. I have seen that many times, where they give them false information.
And I sob elieve Shonen ai is now refered to phedophilia. BL I believe is the correct term now.
Hmm...Well I guess so. Heehee I'll probably still call it that though. It takes me a while to change. I'm still spelling this one characters name wrong even thought I know how its spelt. sweatdrop
Shounen ai is just the term for male love while Yaoi is the word for adult male love. Often with a age differens between them and there of the terms Uke and Seme.
These words are as stated horribly missused (is that a word?) and often makes people angry when used that way.
And I complately agree for it is a fact that Gravitation is not a Yaoi.
And also I love Yaoi and shounen ai as well as slashable series.

I agree with you competly. Like I said people do abuse those words and thats rather annoying.

Yes intelligence is a good thing. Sometimes you just can't think of how to put the words. You fixed my statement. xd
Weiss, Kyo Kara Maou, Gravitation, Fruits Basket and FAKE. ^_^ Great taste. But what about JJ? Don't you pair him with anyone? I pair him with Dee and Berkley. 3nodding More Berkly thought because I'm more of a Dee and Randy/Ryo fan. 4laugh

Loli Mitsu I dont particularly like yaoi/yuri. But isnt shonen ai an outdated term.
Doesnt it mean real life phedophilia?
But I hate the yaoi fans who think all guy on guy is yaoi >,< yaoi is porn nya.
Hmm what else. Also when ''yaoi fans'' shove yaoi in your face. I hate that =_= im glad that there arnt any around as much as there was. :3

I really love shounen-ai and yaoi... I don't mind shoujo-ai but I have yet to see a decent one (other than the girls from Loveless) Favourite pairings: Cloud/Vincent (FFVII) Tsuzuki/Hisoka (Yami no Matsuei) Ritsuka/Soubi (Loveless) Dee/Ryo (Fake... best... yaoi manga.... EVER!) Kaoru/Hikaru (Ouran High School Host Club XD THE ULTIMATE TABOO!) Roy/Ed (FMA) Quote: Oh yeah...I heard about that, too...I think the right term now is "june"...I like shounen-ai better, but...whatever...I use "BL/boylove" anyway... Personally I think that's just a misconception... I think people started thinking that because of the "June" publishers (a jap to english manga translator.. they republish a LOT of yaoi books [I own a few])

I really wanted to see Rose and Dee duke it out more over Ryo biggrin
