As Joshua continued to read to the young cheetah girl, he couldn't help wondering if this is what it might have been like if he had a daughter. He wished he could have known, but it was too late for that now. He glanced at Colche, noticing that she was starting to get drowsy. "Are you tired, Colche? Would you like to go to sleep now?" he asked, picking up the paper and placing it back inside the book to mark his place.

colche smiled,s he rubbed her eyes in a sleepy kid manner and nodded climbing up the bed she clambered under the sheets nesting beneath the covers with a sleepy grin "comeback read gain soons?" she smiles sweetly, it was sort of a rhetoricle question really though she thought she had better ask.
her paw like hands lifted and brushed her eyes and cheeks with the backs of them before settling them under the blanket and yawning showing those lines of fangy teeth.
"thankyous" she whispers a pleased smile on her pretty maw "i learns hard" she puurrs her big blue eyes closing gently, ashen lashes titching only for a moment before they were still. It was afternoon and time for a sleep, she would waken just before sunset and be active for a good few hours, perhaps she could find Josh again then?
All thoughts left ehr mind though as she drifted off in to a happy slumber to sleep and dream of piggies and proffesers and all the new books she would soon learn to read.

Joshua stood up as she moved under the sheets, and he placed the book back onto the bookshelf for her. Then he turned back to the bed and helped her settle down under the covers, tucking her in so she was comfortable. "Yes, I promise to come back and read with you again," he said, smiling. "And you're welcome, you're a very good learner. Sleep well Colche, we can read again sometime soon."
With that, he turned and left the cheetah girl's duplex, shutting the door behind him before he made his way back to his own duplex with questions still plaguing his mind.
