 Tuzwa smiled and gently returned his lick. "We'll never be sure. We just have to live our lives as best we can. Nothing can ever be planned." She averted her gaze when she felt a familiar still in her belly. "There's not much we can do Kazi." What she wouldn't give if they were back at his shelter and able to talk through their lives. Kazi was already a dear friend but whenever she was around him she felt courageous and strong.

The lion smiled and nodded at her statements, feeling a sudden urge to go back, however forcing them down and continuing to walk. As he went, his thoughts about giving up his life as a rogue left him, only to be replaced by the idea of finding a mate and having cubs of his own. He was certainly old enough. He turned back to look at Tuzwa and smiled warmly. Odd how he took her company, though usually he would've brushed off anyone who even tried to come near him. "Tuzwa, can I ask you something?" he said hesitantly.

Tuzwa smiled and almost wanted to forget about pride rock. She just wanted to curl up with him somewhere and think about their future. Not that she thought that it would be their future but it was a thought. Her tail once again raised behind her and swayed with her swagger. "I'm sure that any female would be lucky to one day have your cubs..." Tuzwa's mind went back to her own for a moment before she heard him. Something jumped in her stomach. "Yes Kazi?"

(( Okay, good. xd I think I'll be staying up later than usual tonight. rofl ))
Kazi lowered his head and sighed, taking a deep breath before going on with what he had wanted to ask her. He stopped walking and he tapped her nose, sort of asking her to stop as well. "Will you..." he started, and he gritted his teeth his hesitance. It'd be an odd question to ask someone you'd only met a day ago...but...he continued despite all that. "Will you stay with me?" he asked, unsure of what her response would be. He didn't look at her, but at his paws that were frozen where they stood on the ground. "I know we just met yesterday...and you have your cubs...but...I...uhh...just thought to ask...uhm..." and his voice faded off awkwardly as he waited for her response.

Tuzwa's eyes brightened as he spoke. Everything seemed to be coming together. Her mind strayed to Ausha for a moment and finally to her cubs. This would most likely be very strange to them but if they're mother was happy then it wouldn't make nay difference to them. Tuzwa didn't know how to answer him. The only thing she could do was gently lift his head with her muzzle and press herself into his chest. "Oh Kazi...you know we can't have cubs for sometime if you mean what you say."

Kazi purred lightly and brought a paw up to her back, pulling her into a sort of hug as he sighed. "Hey, what's the rush?" he was his only response, and his old self seemed to have returned already. He pulled back and licked her cheek, chuckling as he gazed into her eyes. "So...will you?" he asked. He wanted a straightforward answer - yes or no? Gestures, at times, could only go so far, and he wanted to be sure of what her reply would be.

Tuzwa smiled and felt tear stream down her cheeks as she was pulled into his embrace. Her voice was lost for a few moment as she regained her composure. "You think I would say no?" She said it as if he had courted her for years just to finally ask that question. She nuzzled into the mane around his neck. Their quest forgotten as she licked under his chin. "It would be a dream come true...Kazi." She leaned into him and closed her eyes. This was the Kazi she knew. Her Kazi.
((Gives me time to save for a custom kid whee ))

(( Indeedy. xd Hehe, silly silly Kazi. xd Alive 3 days and already he's taken. rofl ))
He smiled and let a low growl emit from his throat as she licked under his chin. He was at a loss for words, and he nuzzled her gently. "Come on, we need to talk to the queen so we can find a den or something before nightfall. Wouldn't want to walk too far out again would you?" Kazi licked her cheek once more before he nudged her and started walking again. "We can talk more after we meet with either Mufasa or Sarabi." The male smiled again and went on ahead of her.

Tuzwa smiled as reluctantly pulled away from him. "I guess we would need a den tonight so we can finally be together without feeling awkward." She cuckled and followed Kazi with a spring in her step. A shiver ran up her spine as she nipped at the tuft of his tail. She didn't plan on biting. it was more of an affectionate action. The purple lioness held herself higher as she walked behind him. "I love you Kazi..." She whispered softly.
((I'm trying to make a kid that'll be 400k instead of 600k xp ))

(( xd All the lionesses aside from Tuzwa were too young so it's okay. ^^ Wow...that journal has seriously got to get done. xd ))
Kazi laughed lightly when she nipped his tail, and he turned around and nudged her off. "C'mon," he said amidst his laughter, "We need to hurry if we want to catch them before they leave." He gave her a small lick on the nose before turning back around and walking toward their destination. A small smile emerged on his young features as her words rang in his ears. "I love you too Tuzwa..." he whispered equally as softly.
(( You could make him colored like Kazi but have his/her marks purple? <<'; That wouldn't cost 600k. x] Would it? O__O'; ))
