pyroboy31337 picknslap BaSsStuD i thought i already had a dream bass till i came across this one. its a Tele-star double neck bass. err. Awesome? Until I see video of someone switching back and forth between necks in the middle of a song, and it sounds good and smooth. Doubles will forever be useless in my eyes. That looks like a dubble bass/guitar to me...but some ppl can pull that off, take Jimmy Page for example..he masted the dubble neck guitar he hade yeah, I meant double anything. Jimmy Page switched back and forth right in the middle of playing a song?

I'd really love a Fender custom J-Bass. Kind of like this, but cooler: I'd get a tobacco sunburst body (kind of like this but darker) and go for the smoothest, most natural feeling neck I could find. I'd also get a Carvin Redline amp. That would be sweet.

Well, I have a dream dream bass, a realistic dream bass, then my soon to have dream bass, here's the dream dream bass: The finest bass Carl Thompson ever made, also referred to as the "10 million dollar bass." Real price unknown. The realistic dream bass: A Modulus FB4 4-string, Flea's custom bass except I'd get mine in black, about $2,500 at Musicians Friend. And my soon to be dream bass: Just a standard Fender Jazz bass, except in black as well, about $415 at Musician's Friend.

Zaxxor I want a victor wooten bass, he's an awesome player and makes his own. Umm, hate to break it to ya, but wooten plays foderas. A kickas* bass, but he doesn't make his own. He shells out thousands of dollars for Fodera to make them, I think the luthiers names ar Joey and Vinnie, I might be wrong though.

I like the Jaco Pastorius Jazz Bass. Mainly for the body style. My dream version would be fretted with a maple fretboard, and be 5 string with the old school p-bass style headstock (by old school p-bass I mean the '51, the telecaster style headstock). Of course, it would have to have active pickups and a 3 band active eq. That's just how I roll.
