I believe a soul is the same thing as a spirit. So if you're alive, animal or not, you have a soul. 3nodding

I don't know how people can't think that there's not souls in every living thing. I mean, if your alive and have basic animal instinct and you have a soul...why can't the animals. I mean it's so common sence.

In my mind, everything has a soul. In my oppinion, hummans are lower then animals because we have evolved to be mean and cruel to one another for no reason and animals verry rarely turn on one another for no reason. If you say someone like a human who kills for money has a soul, then you have to say that a wolf who only kills to survive has a soul. To me, thats just common sence. But thats just my oppinion.

I belevie every living creature has a soul no matter how bad or mean they are seid to be. I think some people think animals have no souls because they are lowlier then people.

yes they do have souls
i know that my pets that have died i feel like there still here and/or i felt their souls after
also if u read Guardians of Ga'hoole
In the third they talk about scrooms or their souls
staying and not ready to go to the after life

If you look at them, you have to realize that they do have souls, in my opinion. They eat, sleep, breathe.... 3nodding

I think a big problem some people have about not believing animals have souls is because they lack the inability to love as we humans do. They rely mostly on natural instinct, behaviours learned from their parents, things like that. Most people who don't think animals have souls are the same people who don't think they have emotions or can feel pain, either.
Sadly, I hope none of these people comfort their children when a pet dies by saying, "Don't worry, honey, Rex is up in heaven, and he's happy." Doesn't one need a soul to enter heaven? xp

I said to my friend the other day, "Well, at least he will be in doggy heaven!" She returned, almost yelling at me, "Animals don't go to heaven!" It really struck me hard. I was so devastated to think that my pets will not meet me again in heaven. I still believe they have souls...

There isn't any proof I have a soul, and there isn't any proof my dog has one, either. The concept of a soul just seems to be a human's way of explaining why they feel emotional connections with other humans.

I don't really follow my religion, I just follow the rules, NOTICE: Why I converted to Wicca.
I believe that animals have souls.
My little Ryouga-baby died in my room and I've felt sad. A couple of days ago I was feeling low and I saw him out of the couner of my eye and smiled ^_^ I told him he could go now, that I felt better. I've seen the same thing with my other deceased dogs as well, and really, I don't like to reffer to them as deceased, just passed on, but you get the point ^_^
Animals do have souls, I loved and cared for all of my dogs endlessly and they come back when I feel low. I'm certain I'm not seeing things, I get enough sleep and food. So, for me, animals' souls exist.

Of coarse animals have souls! 4laugh I think that the reason why lots of people think that they don't, is because we can't understand them... which is a very dumb reason...
