Suiko III opening is so dramatic, plus the music (of course) was beautiful. I might say better than Suiko II opening...
Suiko V's opening was ok, it was very mellow compared to the really powerful music of the past suikoden ops.

I think III's my favorite opening out of all 6. I don't really remember what V's was about just that I wasn't really that drawn in like in III.

V gets overshadowed by III because of how dramatic and wonderful the music is in III. V does indeed have nice animation- but the song sounds like "Wew! It's a festival, yay!"

K i o K u n I think III's my favorite opening out of all 6. There's 9 games. suikodenmaster1324 They made an anime of suikoden?! And it sucked?! I CURSE THE CREATORS FOR TARNICHING THE SUIKODEN NAME!!!!!!!!! One, quiet fanboy. Second, it has nothing to do with the game series. Third, there are other games going by the name of Suikoden with no relation to Konami's RPG series.

Ive heard of it, but like most people said, what Ive read its nothing to do with the Suikoden series at all. Most people didnt like it, either on the reviews

Suikoden isn't directly related to the game series, it's also the name off of an old chinese tale that describes a king being corrupted by a manipulative woman that practically forces him to commit deviance and so on. Sound familiar? First game. Anyway, I'm pretty certain that the anime was based off of the story, not the games. If it doesn't even have anything to do with that story, then I dunno. Our lovely Suikoden is original, but sure, it was heavily inspired. =P
And Suikoden has a pretty good fanbase, and it's always been hugely popular series in Japan, just never got huge here. I think an anime would be pretty successful. They made a manga, why not an anime? I'd prefer Suiko II. :3
