Kaelin laughs shaking her head "I already know of one of Uncle Darius children, in fact he the father of Mel and Dil." with a nod she frowns but quickly hides it with a smile "Thom...." shaking her head she thinks "I really gotta meet this whole family, but I have a feeling that would take a lifetime." giggling she leans back relaxing alittle.

"It would I'm sure," Pol laughed a little, shaking her head as she sipped at her tea. "Where is Thom now?" She asked gently, blinking a little. She hadn't heard from either of them in a long while.

Kaeling swallowed hard looking down at her lap "I don't know where he is, he vanished with Mel awhile ago. I haven't heard from him for awhile. So I'm not sure if he hurt or he just doesn't love me anymore.." shrugging she looked up smiling even though her eyes clearly showed pain. She was trying to put on a brave face for her mother even though she felt like crying "I'm just waiting for him to return..."

Pol sighed. "Wait, I know it's hard, but your mother has vanished from my life on several occasions. It hurts, but its worth the wait... I think," She sighed, she could share her daughter's pain.

Kaelin nods thinking to herself then mumbles "But how long do you wait mum? What if he never returns, what if I never seen my son again?" she was trembling but was doing her hardest to keep it under control. Shakign her head she sighs as she continues to just look at her hands.
How does one person say they love you more then anything else then vanish it just didn't make sense to her.

"I still am waiting Kaelin hun." Pol sighed. "That's why I left the house. If your mother loves me and returns, then I will be here waiting for her. I couldn't stay in the house anymore, it was too quiet, I couldn't handle being alone like that. I have dad here at the very least, he's not the best of company, I think he has his own problems as well, but I don't ever ask, he doesn't like talking about it."

Kaelin nods then sighs "Anila moving up onto the Isle to be with her new love Daeron, Comos might be doing the same to be with Nixie. So the homes been pretty quite. There isn't much yelling anymore, and you know what I miss that. Its scary I miss wrestling with Comos everytime I picked on him." laughing alittle she looks at her mother "Does the pain ever go away?"

"If you make yourself busy and you try not to think about it, it dulls a bit, not a lot, but enough that I'm not crying everytime I think about it now." She lowered her head and sighed. "I just... wish I knew what I did wrong again. Your mother left me before you know..."

Kaelin nods "I wonder the same thing with Thom. I know I get angry real quick. But I don't think it would be enough to send him flying away from me. I just don't know what to do anymore..." shaking her head she looks down at her lap falling quiet as she thought.

"Sometimes you just have to move on, and if they come back, they come back." Polgara sighed and stood, sipping her tea before putting it down on the table. "I will be right back, please don't go anywhere." She said as she left the room.
She returned a few minutes later with a pair of daggers, both their handles were bound with ivory etched with designs. The blades were rather plain, and looked quite sturdy. She held them both in a hand, and it was obvious by her stance that she knew how to use them, even in a dress as flowy as this one. She however just placed them down on the table, and sighed.

Kaelin nods keeping her head bow, she only looks up when her mother returns. Seeing the blades she arches a brow looking at them before looking back to her mother "What are these for?"

Pol smield a little. "THey're mine, they are what I use when ever I feel the need to exert energy. They are my weapon of choice you could say." She sighed and picked one up, running her finger along the edge of the blade. "They are also a reminded of all it would take for me to just give it all up."

Kaelin arched her other brow then frowns "Give it all up? As in..." shaking her head she sighs "Don't even think about it, I just found you. I'm not gonna lose my mother. I don't think I could handle it..." looking up her eyes locked with her mothers "If love is something that causes you to feel this way then maybe it not worth it..."

Pol was silent for a moment and then she laughed, spinning the blade in her hand she stabbed it into the table, resting her hand on the top of the handle. "Kaelin, I do not wish to end my life so soon, if I did, I would have done so a long time ago, when your mother left me the first time." She kept her gaze locked on Kaelin's eyes. "When you love someone like I loved your mother, you are willing to do things you know might jsut be crazy. I will never love another woman like I love your mother."

Kaeliun listens to her mothers words then looking down she thought about him. Was she willing to do the same thing. Looking up at the blade she watched her mother as she lifted it out of the table. Looking at it her eyes seem to change emotions for a moment that were unreadble.
Shaking her head she placed the blade down "We shall see how long I can wait, he took my son away from me. I'm not if I'll be able to forgive him for that." her voice seem to fill with venom for a moment before she looked back down. She did love Thom truely but she was breaking apart inside.
