I'm not sure, but people seem to dislike Jowy. I thought he made a great antagonist and was realistic. He was trapped in a fatalistic sense of destiny and couldn't get out, and honestly cared for his wife and surrogate daughter. Plus, the ending where ((he dies)) is one of the better ones for its realisticness (is that a word, even?) and bittersweetness, which is kinda what the game is about: the losses of war.
And I may be wrong since I haven't finished Suiko3 yet, but Jacque? ADORABLE.

Chikuu Funeral Wind Suikoden 1: Kai, Krin, Mina, Sarah (she cleans your clothes! So underappreciated), and Lotte. Suikoden 2: Millie, Wakaba, and Yuzu. Suikoden 3: Thomas, Nei, Fred, and Iku. Suikoden 4: Nalleo, Millay, Gretchen, Mitsuba, and Eugene Suikoden Tactics: Tristan, Wendel, Snowe (He's killable but not Lazlo. So underappreciated in this game), Nalleo, and Rita.Suikoden 5: Not finished yet. ASDFGHJKL;' I LOVE RITA. She needs more love from the fans.

OdessaPlus Albert Silverberg. For some reason, he doesn't stand out as much as the other Silverberg and so isn't getting much love. IMO, Albert gets WAAAAAY to much attention from yaoi fanfiction. Him and Yuber man... can you say Butt-Secks?

IMO, Albert gets WAAAAAY to much attention from yaoi fanfiction. Him and Yuber man... can you say Butt-Secks? yep.........and rita gets enough appreciation, i love her.....and eugene ((my mum laughs when he dies in tactics and i throw a screaming hissy fit about killing my little purple haired baby...............i dunno why i likes him so much but i do )) now thomas, ill agree with, the poor boy does not get enough attention, as well as tristan (( anouther fave )).....and since i dont have 1,2,4 i cant comment about them.......ive played 1 & 2 but it was years ago......and i dont remember the charats very well......

Chikuu She does... Ritapon was like, only the best minigame in the series EVAR. I like calling her Ritapon too. Maybe because everytime I hear Rita, I think of that damn game.

Dark_Dragoon77 chibi_viki most of the under-appreciated characters would fall under gs4... or more like obscure characters. heck i barely remember the SoDs who weren't main or returning characters. i like sara... no not luc's sidekick in gs3... sara the laundrywoman in gs1 ^_^ and yuzu the little sheepherder in gs2 -- you'll never guess who she marries when she grows up... WHO!!! WHO!!! WHO!!! It's... Tony the farmer!! sweatdrop Hey, I'm not kidding. In suikogaiden vol.2, Viki accidentally teleports Nash, Millie and Meg 10 years into the future and runs into the now married Tony and Yuzu... sidenote: someone should define "under-appreciated characters" sweatdrop
