I definitely recommend Princess Tutu. It's one of the better magical girl anime I've ever seen and one of my favorites, period.
It is about a young duck named Duck who wishes she was a girl. Her wish is granted and she becomes a student at a ballet school. She falls in love with a boy, Mythos, who is actually a prince, but he lost his heart long ago when he used it to seal the evil Raven away. Duck wants to return the prince's heart to him, so she becomes Princess Tutu to gather up and return the pieces of his heart to him. It is just such a wonderful series!
Basically, it's a dark fairytale.

I just watched a new one today...and I really like it so far.
Saiunkoku Monogatari (Tales of Saiunkoku)
Summary: Born of an old, respected family in the land but subsisting on a low income, Shuurei accepts an invitation to become the new Emperor's concubine while believing that he is homosexual. The real purpose of her marriage is, however, to educate the lazy Emperor. Her close friend, Seiran, also enters the court as royal guard. Things get complicated when the characters unexpectedly develop feelings for each other.

i recently got hooked on full moon wo sagashite! i would definatly recommend it! Another one is Loveless! this one not good for every one, it has shonen-ai.

Noise_Demon Rina_Toin i recently got hooked on full moon wo sagashite! i would definatly recommend it! Another one is Loveless! this one not good for every one, it has shonen-ai. You must remember heart ! The manga is great, and has more to it then the anime as it goes on (the anime was finished before the manga after all, which doesn't make much sense to me).

the latest anime i seen was Crest of the stars it is really addicting and it is very interesting I like all the charescters and it has a really good story line and i also

Sadly I've been out of the anime loop for so long..there aren't any series per say that I've gotten into at all as of late...
I think the "newest" things that I say were like...Bleach and Naruto...I say a few other things too...they were some of those "short" series though...RE:Cutey Honey and uh...hmmm...say a bit of Crayon Shin...what else...
I say some "magical" girl anime too...but I just can't remember the damn name...had a REALLY catchy opening though...
I'm always up to suggestions though, so don't hesitate to bother me with ideas for what show to see next hah.
