Without any reguard for the passing of time Airlia worked at a gradual pace doing her very best to not only form a pose but to do so fluidly in as natural and graceful a manner as she could. It was exausting, but tired as she was she felt invigorated at the same time. Refreshed of mind and spirit.

With a pleased pur the black and gold fluffy gently pushed her new possesion back to her room cautiously so as to not damage the gift she had been given. When it was safely in place she washed herself meticulously giving herself a complete grooming. It wouldn't do to have a clear mind and a dirty body. Feeling much more presentable Airlia pawed through her collection of scents to find something soft and airy. After applying the perfume she walked sedately towards the Elemental hall's kitchen in search of something to quell her noisy tummy.

The delicious aroma of fresh fish tickled Airlia's nose as she climbed up into her place at the elemental cat's dining table. Her dinner was pleasingly arranged on a beautiful silver bowl with delicately scalloped edges. Bowing her head to thank the spirit of the departed fish for the gift of life she was about to recive and the goddess for her bounty. Lifting here eyes she enjoyed a visual feast as the bright multi colored scales of the fish shimmered in the light.

When her desire to eat overcame her sense of asthetics Airlia daintily but effectivly began to scale her fish with tooth and claw.

When the hunger that had been pressing upon Airlia since she finished her training had abated but was not yet at the overy full stage, the spirit fluffy stood away from her bowl and stepped down from her place. After a quick grooming to make sure she hadn't left any of her meal behind the black and gold cat strode silently into the garden for a bit of meditation.

The breeze was cool on her face as she entered the private garden and made an obeisance in front of the mother's statue. Gazing around at the vairous plants she decided a bit of a walk was in order. Tranqualy she wandered the maze with no real purpous in mind save the clearing and relaxation of her mind.

Marvling at the color of the sky as the sun set and the first of the stars began to glow in the twilight Airlia breathed in the delicate scent of flowers growing all around her as she followed the maze to it's center. Coming upon a rock circle surrounding a small pond she bent down curiously to investgate. The smooth surface was mirror bright reflecting the moon's image so she didn't see that the small pool was inhabited at first. When movement caught her eye, she tracked it taking in a deep breath at the beauty of the creature who had moved. It was a small brightly colored fish with orange, white, and black mottling covering it from head to tailfin.

Curling her tail around her forelegs the spirit fluffy let her mind wander as watched moonbeams dance over the Koi's scales making miniture rainbows whever the light fell.

Airila blinked her eyes open realizing that she had fallen asleep next to the little pond at the center of the garden's maze. The bright green hedges looked difrent in the daylight sparkling as they were with dew and contrasted next to the soft pink and yellow hews of the sunrise. Bidding the koi fair well she stood up stretching slowly before making her way back through the maze. At the threashold of the garden Airlia paused a moment before the mother to bow her dark head in prayer.

Ready now to face the day the dark cat lifted her head stepping lightly over the marble floor. Her room was her first destination, in order to retreave her begginer's book on yoga. Then it was off to the training hall for a bit of an early morning workout.

The training hall was empty when she entered and she set the book up against the wall so that she could look at the pages while she was doing the exersizes.

Aeira sat alone in the in the liveing area. she yawned and looked around. she did not like being alone and she missed lilly but she was sleeping in her room. she had been with lilly for ever. they grow up in the same tree. and when she was brought here she brought her with her. she would not have it any other way and she put up with her holyer then tho moods she got some times. and that was a lot to ask.

she yawned softly yet again. thinkit it might be best for her just to go to bed to. she diped the top of her paw in the the small bowl of cream she had. she started to lick the cream from her paw. it was better then geting up and drinking it. and this way she did not get her face messy.

Keeping her breaths slow and deep Airlia moved fluidly through the steps of her exersizes. As she worked she cleared her mind of all thought and in so doing she became more aware of herself and the training room around her. The soft brush of paw against the polished surface of the floor, the strong scent of sweat mixed with fur, the brilliant sunlight pouring into the room, Airila absorbed all of it making herself one with it. By strengthening her connection to the pysical world she drew nearer to that of the spirit.

When she finished she was tired in mind and body, but she was also very pleased with her efforts. It wouldn't happen over night, but she was becoming stronger. She could feel it.

Airlia bowed her head, pausing a moment to silently thank the goddess for the great gifts she had been given. When she was ready she gathered up her book and returned it to her room.

When it was secure she gave herself a complete grooming. Working out was important but one's body should reflect it's inner state. Peering at herself in her mirror the spirit fluffy decided she was fit for company and set off for the library. There was an interesting book she had seen there in her eariler trip to the book filled room that she wanted to read again.

Padding over the marble floors quiet as a thought and just as fleeting the black and gold cat hummed softly under her breath most pleased with the way her day was going. It wasn't much work to find the book she was looking for since it had been near to the floor the last time she had scanned the shelves. Pulling it out she flipped open the leather cover and turned the pages until she reached the section on bells and wind chimes. Settling herself down she read about musical the insterments and how they were made. She turned the pages until she reached the section on bells and wind chimes and began reading avidly.

Closeing the leather bound book and gently sliding back into it's place Airlia smiled as her tail weaved a happy pattern in the air. "I believe I can manage it." She said with great satisfaction marching happily down the hall.
The garden would have everything she would need. Stepping lightly over the marble floor the spirit cat laughed under her breath. After all her searching she finally found something that she could make with her own four paws that she could gift to the goddess and those the Great Mother cared for.

Entering the garden the black and gold Cat bowed down before the statue before searching for the things she would need. Reeds of varing lengths, a strong thin leaf or stem for binding, a stick to help clean the reeds out and her own teeth and claws for carving the delicate insterments.

It would take a while to make her gift, but a gladness had filled her heart and she found the work to be a pleasure not a task. Humming softly the spirit cat closely examened reed after reed selecting only the ones she felt would make the sweetest sounds. When she found one she wanted she was careful to break it off at varying lengths so there would be many diffrent notes in the wind chimes she was going to make.

When she had enough to make her chimes, she set them down in a safe corner of the garden before going after the bindings. Hunting for the leaves and stems she would need took much more time than the even the reeds had, as it wasn't easy to find just the right combination of strength and flexibility.

Putting the bindings next to the reeds she wandered over to one of the small trees in the garden picking up a fallen branch that looked as if it would be the right size to clean out the reeds. Going back to her findings Airlia began the slow work of clearing the pith from inside the reeds. Cautiously she probed the reeds gently teasing the pith out leaving hollow tubes ready to be made into a musical insterment.

It took a great deal of time to get all of the reeds hollowed but once she was finished she didn't stop there. She wanted to string the reeds before the leaves and stems dried out too much. So Airlia knawed a hole in each reed and then carefully inserted the leaves and stems trwining the reeds together so they would tap against eachother as the wind blew. Her chimes were nearly finished. All she needed to do was to decorate the outsides of the reeds with shallow claw markings in a swirling design that was to represent the circle of life.

When the project was complete she stepped back to look at it. It wasn't a masterpeice by any means since she had only the simple things in the garden and her own body to use as tools and materials. But she had put her whole heart into the project and as such she knew the godess would be pleased. Holding the chimes up in the soft breeze blowing through the garden Airlia smiled as she heard the gentle restive sounds.

Tired from her work but happy Airlia carefully held her gift as she left the garden and then the elemental hall alltogether making her way to the one of the Goddesses temples.

Exausted from her busy day Airlia did her nightly grooming before happily climbing the cushons on her bed and curled up. The soft sounds of a nightengale wafted into her room through the open window and the tired cat smiled as she slipped off into sleep.

The darkness had lifted and the morning light streamed through the prisms hanging in the window to cast rainbows in scattered patterns across the walls and floor. Airila roused slowly enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Streatching the sleep from her body she gave her dark black and gold fur a quick grooming. There was much to do and she would have a proper grooming later, but it wouldn't do to start the day with a slovenly apperance.

Hopping off of her bed the spirit cat sauntered through the elemental hall to the kitchen where she seated her self as her food was presented before her. Steam rose from the mince meat pie that rested on the small white platter that had appeared before her.

Lowering her head she enjoyed the aroma wafting up from the savory dish. Bowing her head she thanked the Mother for her bounty before she dantily started into the delicious breakfast.

Cleaning the last vestages of her meal from her wiskers Airlia hopped down from her place striding silently down the hall towards the training area. Stretching laugidly she waited for her pulse to steady. Taking a deep breath she began her rutine. Watching herself in the mirror she tried to keep her movements smooth and gracefull though she could feel herself sweating from the effort. Her muscles were warming from the work they were doing so she eased into slightly more challenging poses all while clearing her mind and focusing inward.

The black and gold cat was panting softly when she finished her workout. It was the longest most challenging routine she had tried so far and she was pleased with her performance. It wasn't flawless, but she was learning a great deal. Besides she felt an inner confidence growing from her sense of connection to herself and the world around her.

Gliding leasurly across the beautiful marble floors the spirit cat stepped up into a steaming bath. She relaxed into the warm scented water as the heat washed the strain from her weary muscles. Sighing happily she thought about what she wanted to do next. She had made the chimes for the godesses temple. But there was more than one temple. Perhaps she should make one for the other temple as well. She had never feared the godesses darker children. For life was a balance and spirit existed within both the realms of darkness and of light. Without darkness there could be no light. Without night there was no day. Those that dwelt within the shadows deserved The Mother's love as much as those who lived within the light. And she should honnor the Goddesses darker face as much as she reveired the her gentler aspect.

With this in mind she emerged from the sweet smelling water to dry herself on the towels that had been provided for her. Glancing at herself in her mirror she started off for the garden so she could collect what she needed for her gift.

Tapping the finished wind chimes with a dark paw, Airlia listend with surprise to the hollow almost earry sound that the insterment produced. She hadn't done anything diffrently in making the two sets of chimes, but somehow they both turned out as they needed to so they would fit well into the environments they would be in. That was none of her doing, she was sure. Bowing her head she whispered a prayer of grattitude for the godesses thoughtfulness.

Stilling the insterment the black and gold cat bowed before the garden statue before starting on her journy to the western woods and the godesses sacred place within that shadowed place.

Her dark coat blended well with the long shadows that fell in the forest concealing her as she walked serenely through the woods that the brave feared to tread.

Returning from her trip to the western woods in high spirits, the black and gold cat padded into the libary and selected the book of music and insterments from the lowest shelf. Pulling it over to a corner she opened up the tombe, curled up infront of the book and began to read. She was fasinated by music and wanted to learn how she might be able to make her own music.

Purring softly she flipped through the pages. There were so many insterments to pick from. But which one would suit her best? She would have to meditate on that question.
