My mom and I learned today that Cayane Pepper and Red Pepper are one and the same (at least according to the container at the grocery store where I used to work they are).

I went to the zoo yesterday and learned that the stripes on a zebra's rear is unique to the type of zebra. And here we thought he was being rude by not turning around. He was just trying to demondstrate! xp

Britney's husband wants the kids to work at Taco Bell.

(You didn't say it had to be anything anyone else cared about, but it was on Access Hollywood when I logged on).

Today I learned a new, easy, quick and very yummy pasta recipe!!

I also learned a few things I didn't know about Victor Hugo in preparation for my French exam tomorrow -I suspect he will be an essay topic...

Sure!!

It's so easy! You just take a punnet or two (depending on how many you're cooking for) of cherry tomatoes and cut them all in half. Then you drizzle some olive oil in a baking dish and throw them in. Crush about three cloves of garlic and put that in with the tomatoes-you won't smell great afterwards, but it tastes so good! Mix together some balsamic vinegar and olive oil (about half half) and put a little bit of sugar in with it (you get a better flavour if you don't use white sugar -I used demara) then drizzle that over the garlic and tomatoes. Add some salt and pepper then put it in the oven until the juices are bubbling. Meanwhile cook some pasta (I like angel hair) and finely chop some basil. Drain the pasta and mix it through the tomato and garlic mixture. Add the basil and some crumbled feta cheese and serve!! So yum!

I've just learned that my housemate (who is leaving today) has no idea where the cleaning products are kept in this house, because he hasn't used them in the year we've lived together!

And you put up with it that long?

Yup! He did the dishes sometimes, but that was about it. He was in his room a lot though, so he didn't make too much mess...
