So the fact that it was DIRECTLY STATED IN THE SHOW is not proof?

B) A.M.A.Z.O. would most likely have a core meltdown if he attempted to copy the level of power the Infinity Guantlet wields. You all seem to think that Thanos with IG against other so-called "omnipotents" would lose. But you all underestimate his intelligence. With out Death around to screw up his thought process, Thanos would ask with merciless intent. All gods start off as something less and all gods were born weaker then they are now. With the time Gem and Space gem alone, Thanos could simaltaneously go back to the beginning of all the god character's existances and wipe them out then. A.M.A.Z.O wouldnt have a core meltdown he would get a alot stronger. he easily counts as a 12 lvl intalect (im not even a .00001 lvl because i suck at spelling x.x...........) if he is able to warp into other universes and move plants into pocket deminsions as well as break through the whole green lanteern's core shield without even slowing down and tons of other amazeing things I think A.M.A.Z.O can stop just about anything oh and another funny thing about time travel if they are alive today then they didnt die in the past and if they did die in the past then why would the person or thing in today's time go back and kill something that is already dead that isnt alive intoday's time unless it was still alive showing that if the person or thing did go back in time to try and kill that person or thing it would easily be that that person would fail because that person is alive today........... i think im starting to repeat myself

The Nabeshin factor trumps everything.
Fourth Wall breaking abilities supercede the level of strength one has.
You guys, there are simply too many factors to justify Thanos coming out alive in a One on Countless brawl. With or without His Infinity Gauntlet.
I'm sure somebody could list off gems in the Anime Universe with similar powers.

And about A.M.A.Z.O...
A being at his level wouldn't consider fighting Thanos.
He'd probably just float around, watching what he does in an effort to learn more about life.
Even if Thanos attacked him, it's highly implausible that Mazzio would attempt to kill. He's got no reason to kill.

Actually it means she constantly talks to "outside" the comic book, making her authors go in and doing the story differently. This is so in John Byrne's run and on the current one.

Somewhere in the anime universe there is a jewel or trinket that equals the Space Gem. I'm sure we can match up Time, Power, Soul, Mind, and Reality too. Somebody back me up.

And...if we really want to get picky...
Thanos is incapable of using the Infinity Gauntlet as the gems are now null when combined. But we won't go there.
I wholly support that Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet is Omnipotent based on the rules of the Marvel 616 Universe.
Without the mental capacity to utilize it properly however, he is left with a wide open weakness against emotional turmoil and heartache.
And we all know how angsty these anime shows can be...
