i_donate_organs Well...I don't really go to school(I'm homeschooled),so I don't really have to worry about that. Same here! ^.^ Actually, I really don't mind people knowing what I like. I'm rather anti-social so I don't talk to people much about it, but if I did, I'd probably tell them straight out (If they asked or the topic popped up) that I like it. I don't care what anyone thinks about me. If something amuses me and I like it then anyone who doesn't like it can shove it up their a**. ninja *cough cough* Got carried away... sweatdrop

When I got into yugioh, it was when everyone else was into it too. But the fad fadded, people started to go into stuff like dragonball and pokemon and magic. But I sticked with yugioh, and my fandom for it only grew. People started calling me Yugi-hoe, and stuff like that. I hated it, and was a hard time for me. I even got pushed around and had to run into the bathrooms for safety. I never once denied that I like yugioh, and I never once rasied a hand agaist those who being a #%^& to me. But things got better, a lot better. Dont lie about your self in any way. In the long run, life will be better then you ever thought, and all your friends will be ture.

I was lucky I guess. I got into it at middle school with my close friends. Nobody really noticed enough to care about what we liked because the school was so big. Then I moved into a little hippi town where most everybody is just too plain stoned to care. xd
I don't mind telling people though. But that might be because I've never really dealt with any bullying for it myself. *shrugs* Anyway, I agree with most everyone else in here, ya might aswell be honest about what you like. Good friends won't ditch you over something silly like that. Besides we all have one rediculous show we indulge in watching. For some its the OC or Hannah Montanna, for the people in here it just happens to be yu-gi-oh!

I was really lucky, because I am a nerd/geek/uncool person, always have been and always will be. I was able to meet people who liked Yu-gi-oh too. And I was mostly made fun of behind my back, so it was pretty easy to just not listen to them. My best friend is also even more crazy than I could ever hope to be. xd And when I'm around my non-yu-gi-oh friends, I just don't talk about yu-gi-oh, simple. 3nodding

Ah I used to kinda be criticized for liking Yugioh and playing it back in sophmore year. But oh well, I've never been the type of person to care about what others say. Plus Now that I'm on my senior year I'm the one that does the judjing! pirate

I'd have to say that I'm really lucky. I'm the kinda person who's in the middle of the food chain. Friends with the popular kids, but dont hang out with them, same with the geeky kids, then theres my friends.
No one really cares that I play yu-gi-oh at all. Everyone knows, a few kids have said things behind my back, I told them to grow up, and they stopped. My school is very geek tollerant ^^;
They all admitted that they played it/watched it once, and they got over the fact that i still play.
I even found some freshmen that play. I'm like a god to them ^^;

Like my friend Ray who would always make fun of me in a not-so-mean way for playing the card game and who isn't that into anime or video games, I found out the other day that he used to watch it until Duelist Kingdom was almost over. XD;; It was weird. Now me and him always make Pegasus jokes in class.

seriously though, i guess i don't hide it all that well since the walls of my locker are literally covered in pictures of anime. Mostly Yu-Gi-Oh but there's some Yami no Matsuei and Inuyasha in there too.
Anyway, I guess i hide it (sort of) because i don't want people to laugh at me. I'm scared that people will look at my locker and make fun of me for it. I've had enough teasing for the rest of my life and that was just for being fat. i don't want that kind of attention.

I don't know if i would ACTUALLY get beaten up but i'm not gonna go around finding out now am I? with the people that actually go to my school, i wouldn't be surprised if they did beat me up. they're all assholes like that. dumbasses....-.-
