Roxas has no memories = doesn't remember what it's like to have a heart = if he did, he would have seen the way Axel felt about him and probobly done something about it! (something good)
Axel = another exception to the rules

Raven Kitsune *squints* Is it just me or --> does one of those armored figures look like a girl? Those look like boobs to me. O_o --> I was thinking Riku, Sora, Kairi.....but they wouldn't wear tacky Power Ranger getups...would they?

We can't use her as an example for ANYTHING, because she would just throw all our calculations out the window. With it was taken all his memories, as for some reason they seem to be in charge of them. Which is funny, considering how many times over and over again it was stated that it is the HEART that contains memories... stare As for Axel? He's normal. ...I think.

But Nomura stated that he "had already thought up names and faces for them", and I think he said they were origional charecters somewhere. Then again, he did say that Sephiroth wasn't going to appear in KH2... And there he goes, flinging around the Masamune and cackling. ...So. Unless we decide to completely ignore Nomura's past interviews... They aren't people we know. Got it memorized?

...Okay. Now I'm pissed. I just wrote a freaking page worth of Riku stuff, and the internet died. And I lost everything I had written. I must now go kill some heartless, before I snap and destroy the worlds in my rage. *steps outside. The non-sounding screams of many heartless are(n't) heard*

But I guess it doesn’t hurt to share biggrin
Well, from what I understood, a nobody is the result when a person with a really strong heart becomes a heartless.
Also, a nobody is only the physical body which resembles the original person, without a heart.
Organization XIII is made up of 13 of the strongest nobodies who in turn, control over the lesser nobodies. Once an organization member disobeys the will of the Organization, the other members have the ability to turn the member who disobeyed into a Dusk, which is the lowest kind of nobody.
(Somewhat a fact due to Axel mentioning it as a consequence to Roxas.)
Well, another part of my theory is that O-XIII actually knows that they are only nobodies and not their real selves. But this does not mean that they have any memories of their past selves. This lack of memory is probably caused by the lack of a heart.
I think that none of the O-XIII members remember their original names (Other than Xehanort, since he IS the start of this whole thing…) This may be a kind of symbolism in becoming a nobody. For example, Roxas is of course, the anagram of X-Sora.
X, or previously. Thus saying that Roxas was previously Sora. I don’t think Axel is different from the other nobodies, he’s just has a really funky personality (Like Demyx)
He "thinks with his heart rather than his head" (No matter how ironic that may sound)
I have a lot more theories but for now, I’d like to see what you guys think of this sweatdrop

With Kingdom Hearts, I can't help but wonder if there was some severe mistranslations during the transition from Japanese to English or something. *thinks* I mean... It just doesn't make sense...
