Dafina pulled his leg close to his body "Please don't, It hurts too much." He smiled and looked up to Rabbie. "Heh.." he gave a small laugh. "Here I am going to protect you and you're here licking my wounds from a silly scuffle." He looked down at his foot and winced a little. "I don't remember my mother" Said Dafina. "I think she meant, if there were no females, there would be no fighting, but then yet again there would be no more of us, or anything since I think everything needs a female to bring more children into the world." He smiled and licked at Rabbie's snout.

Binifu's ears perked and she sat slowly. She moved her nose away as he licked at it and sneexed. "That tickels!" She exclaimed, and then smiled softly. He didn't remember his mother? That was terrible! Mothers were the greatest thing in the world. "I see.." She said slowly. "Well, what do we do about your paw?" She said slowly.

Dafina looked down and grimaced. "Leave it be I guess? Or we could stick it in the water, and hope that the big lizard doesn't eat it from the taste of my blood in the water. But I don't think we can do much more than that... But I've never had a wound like this..."
Dafian paused and sat up. "I bet they are the greatest thing in the world. I think I got a head wound though once and that's why I don't remember her..."

What an unpleasant thought, not being able to remember your mother. She didn't say anything about it yet but she did get onto all fours. "No we should cover it." She murmered. "After we clean it.. water won't help by it's self..." She trailed off. Perhaps it was just some sort of instinct. A motherly instinct if you will, seeing as mother's needed to understand about hurts and such when they had their own little ones to look after.
"Stay here." She breathed, suddenly shifting off, careful on her paws. She took a little bit to come back, but when she did she helf a few large leaves in her mouth. Gods knew where she got them. She got back to him and set them down, licking at the leaves. "We should... put these around it, I think. Maybe you should stay off of it..." She was a little scared, to tell you the truth.

"I'm not sure what to ever do when one gets hurt..." He wanted to say more but he watched as she ran off to get something. As he waited Dafina stared down at his paw looking at the oozing of it. "It really isn't at all good is it..." He waited for Rabbie to return. When she did he noticed the large leaves. "You will wrap it then? And yes I think you're right for staying off it."

She carefully wrapped it up with the saliva-covered leaves. The saliva would help clean it, since she wasn't all too fond of licking the scary hurt herself, and Daf was saying that it hurt. Bini was panting when she was finished. "That should about do it.." She murmered, then looked up to her new companion's face. "What now?"

"Uhhmm" He looked around. "Maybe you give me muzzle a lick and then I lick you back and thank you for your kindness?" he limped over closer to her. "Thank you" He said "I know you don't exactly know me, And I was a little creepy when we first met... but i'm glad that I've met you" He tried to nuzzle at her with his head. This was the first decent amount of kindness he'd had in a long time.

Bini wrinkled her nose a little at the thought, then decided it might be okay. It was a friendly thank you, right? Bini licked him lightly, but it was more on his forehead than his muzzle. "O..oh." She said. Maybe the nuzzling was a little too much, but Bini knew that he was a little hurt and such.
"I am glad I was able to help you!" She said, her tail wagging a few times.

Dafina somewhat pouted. He knew he made her uncomfertable again. What did he need to do to help her feel more comfertable? He only knew reproducing. He wasn't sure how to just be a friend. "Thank you a lot Bini"" he said. He knew that might help. He remembered when she didn't really like her nick name. He was tring. And tring hard.

Bini's ears flicked forward at her name, and she smiled slowly. So Daf had listened, about how she didn't like that nick name he'd given her. She lightly nuzzled his shoulder (of the paw not hurt, she was afraid to do anything else to that side) and smiled at him. "I think Daf should sleep soon."

"Yes I suppose I should. I'll need all the strength I can get." He looked longingly at her. "Will I see you again?" He waited and stared slowly putting his head down. "I shouldn't hope to see you again, You've just been so kind, One like yourself, shouldn't have to keep taking care of me...With my luck i'll just get hurt again. Or hurt you" The last part he said very quietly. He liked this female and didn't want to see her go, but he had become very tired.

Bini was a little surprised with how attached he'd become, but she wasn't just about to leave him on his own, either. "Maybe Daf can come with Bini toward her pack-mates to be?" Her head tilted. "In the morning. Or a couple of days, when your strength has gone up.." She trailed off, her ears flicking. She hadn't quite heard the last part.
She settled herself down, though her eyes were open wide. She was going to make sure Daf slept, before sleeping herself.

Dafina stared. "Pack?" He shook his head. "No I can't go near any packs. I hate naturally colored dogs" He clearly did. His eyes almost turned as red his pelt. He even let out a ltitle growl. But he didn't wish to scare Bini again. "I'm sorry." he said "It's alright. I will see you again somehow..." he looked at her with drooping eyes before closing them. "Somehow..."

Bini's eyes widened and she scootched back a little at his words. He hated natural colored dogs? Her gaze flickered to her paws and then up along them. She was naturally colored, wasn't she? Her ears pressed back against her skull a moment, a frown easily apparent on her maw. She didn't bother to tell him that their leader was blue for the star's sake! She just sat, slightly upset at this vile comment. SO what if he was red? Did that make him special or something?
Mostly Bini was hurt, because if he hated natural colored dogs then he admitted to hating her and she did not like the feeling of being hated by another.
As he slowly fell into sleep Bini layed herself down, eyes shutting and breathing slowly sinking into a deep rythem, the female also asleep.End?
