I wonder-- would Chinese be too terribly cliche? I'd probably do Chinese-American to keep her history the way it is, but her parents would be very culturally intense. Japanese is popular, but Chinese not so much, I think.

Chinese and Japanese are both kinda cliche. Perhaps you can keep the oriental/asian theme and take it a different direction. Vietnamese, Thailand, or Korean maybe?

I'm a little less familiar with those cultures, unfortunately. >_< And I was less concerned about her being Asian than her being a culture I'm more familiar with.
Perhaps something Scandinavian. I'd go Scottish since she's turning into a Clydesdale, but that seems a little too easy. Maybe I will just go with Australian, or Eskimo-American. The more I think about an Eskimo idea, the more I like it. xD

Hm, I kinda want to runs some ideas through here and see what people say. I'm kinda shooting in the dark here, with the lack of insect islanders, so the transformation I've worked out has some kinks I'm not sure how to deal with.
First off, the mouth. Silkworm moths don't have mouths. They eat a lot as caterpillers, then change. Afterwards they mate and die within a week, literally starving to death. Now, I'm guessing Moreau will make sure that Howie has a mouth and can eat, so that he doesn't die, but I'm not sure what the consequences would be. Would he stop having the instinct to eat?
Another thing I'm having trouble with is the arrival scenario. It's in my quest thread... *points to link in sig* and if anyone has any suggestions, I'd really appreciate it. I'd love to hear about anything else that could improvement, too! Thanks in advance biggrin

Maybe the head honcho going ape about one of his 'employees' getting with his daughter is a little cliche..? Perhaps there could be some other reason for sending him on a seek-and-destroy Howie mission? Or maybe he was already on his shitlist, and that just tipped the scales?
I've found that insect transformations are indeed a bugger~! B: (lol.)

I have to work out what will happen with F.. I mean, I've mentioned this before, but Fleas have no nose, no ears, are near blind, and.. I don't know how he'll manage to speak coherently with three blood sucking.. Things in place of a tongue. x)
Could make for some very, very dull RP.. Or, some rather.. interesting RP.
I can imagine it making him go insane.
Sort of.. I can't hear what you're saying, so I don't care; I can't see what you're doing, so I still don't care; You can't understand what I'm saying, but I'll make noises at you anyway.
Since he'd no longer have any contact with the real world (besides sensing air currents and CO2 levels- Useful. x3), he could just.. make up some happy new world inside his head. 8D
..That happens to involve leaping freakish distances + a pretty intense blood-lust.
OR, he could try and plead with the doctors, give them free reign over his DNA to give him some other animal's ears at least. And maybe some high-powered glasses. And he could learn to speak properly again, I guess.. Like when you first have braces. :] Maybe he'll just end up with a lisp or something. But an otherwise happy chappy?
But basically, I couldn't RP a chara that can do nothing but sit in his duplex 24/7. So, unless he goes crazy in some fun kind of way, here's hoping the doctors can feel some pity~ =D

I can change it if you want! Lol no don't her mom died when she was 5 from a chain of events..... So since in a sence her mom killed herself and Janice understands that She hasn't liked her mom her dad's death was the first of the events.... But Janice know's he was doing what he needed to so she still loves and respecs him even if he's dead.... rolleyes I got a demented little 8 year old mrgreen
