This time dEx was knocked backwards and she fell on the ground flat on her back. As she looked up at the sky unable to move and barely able to breathe she began to wonder why she came here. Then she remembered the Jounin exams and the incredible strength she witnessed there. She knew that if she was going help her friends she would need to be strong enough to stand against them. Lying her wasn't going to help her accomplish this goal. dEx slowly began to move again and got back up to her feet in front of Jinx. She focused her chakra carefully as she formed the hand seals. dEx thought about the Rasengan as she prepared the chakra. "Disabler!" called out dEx. Then she created the barely noticible fireball of chakra and sent it into Jinx knocking her back.

dEx was gasping for air as she collapsed again to her knees. Shadow had finally overcome Jinx's technique and limped his way to dEx's side. She reached out to pet him and then looked up at Jinx to see what she would do now. "Intriguing, you aren't overly strong, but you do have stamina and quite possibly the neccessary drive to be an interesting opponent." said Jinx as she looked down at dEx intently.

While Jinx was distracted dEx took a soldier pill and then formed a quick set of hand seals. There was a small puff of smoke that got Jinx's attention. When she turned around she only saw dEx and Shadow still trying to regain their strength. Jinx went back to preparing for the fight. Soon she thought dEx was feeling well enough to start fighting. "Are you ready to begin?" asked Jinx as she took a fighting stance. dEx nodded and smiled as she got to her feet.

"Fine then. How about I get rid of your little friend." called out Jinx as she dived to attack Shadow. Once she got close she realized that something wasn't right, but it was too late to stop. There was an explosion and the dog decoy popped open with a hail of kunai and shuriken flying out. Jinx used the shadows to move away, but not quickly enough to avoid being struck by a few of the weapons. When she Jinx reappeared she looked furious.

Jinx scowled and then turned around to face dEx. "Okay, I'll show you a couple of things kid." said Jinx as she stepped back. "Let's start with the Shadow Throw." said Jinx. Shadow jumped out of the bushes and ran to hid behind dEx. "She doesn't mean you silly." said dEx to the black dog. Jinx just stared at the two and continued. "This technique allows you to send out a shadow to grab your opponent and throw them into the air." explained Jinx.

"Not too bad for your first try. You need to work a bit more on your shadow manipulation." said Jinx as she looked dEx over again. dEx just nodded and was amazed that she had done it without having any real prior experience with shadow techniques. "You can work on that while you learn one more technique." said Jinx. dEx smiled and nodded to the Hidden Night ninja.

"I would be honored if you'd teach me more." said dEx as she bowed respectfully to Jinx. "Well, you're only worth one more fairly simple technique. The next time we meet, I will not go so easy on you." said Jinx with a scowl showing dEx that she was not a friend. Then she quickly showed dEx a short combination of hand seals. "If you uses these seals and concentrate on the shadows you can disappear from your opponent's view." started Jinx.

dEx was amazing with the way Jinx could manipulate shadows. The Nara clan back in the Hidden Leaf had some impressive techniques, but nothing quite like these. dEx stepped into the shadows as she began to focus her chakra. "Teleport Slam!" called out dEx as she tried to appear behind Jinx and knock her into the ground. Unfortunately, as dEx appeared Jinx was facing her and shaking her had disapprovingly.
