it's a bit of a pain Roo, you have to keep the float inbetween the 2 red lines, it can be done, but it's easy to move your mouse too far and just slip over the line gonk

So it's just a matter of moving the mouse? No clicking on anything at all?

roocee Did I mention how much I hate fishing? This just isn't going well at all. Awww keep at it! It takes a bit to get used to! Just pull the rod the opposite way the fish is pulling (moving the mouse only, no clicking needed except to cast!) Start in bassken lake and get used to fishing for guppies. Each type of fish pulls with a different strength and switches directions at a different speed interval, and guppies don't pull very hard, so it's easier to keep them within the lines. Remember it took me about 3 full days of fishing before I wasn't overly frustrated with it! But then it became easy!

yea it took me awhile to get used to fishing. I couldn't do it on the old puter but I had borrowed a laptop from my boss for a couple weeks (for work purposes....but i hooked it online *shhhhh*) and the first few times I was so discouraged but fawN talked me thru it and now, while I don't *love* it, i remind myself that anything I catch is gold in my pocket.

Well it's loading fine for me. I just can't get it to work. I hook something and it goes to the left every stinking time. No matter which way I move my mouse, it goes to the left every time like I have no control over it at all.

No matter which way I move my mouse, it goes to the left every time like I have no control over it at all. Point your mouse right in the middle of the red lines (EDIT- actually no!) when you cast. That's dead center. You can even find a nice line between the boards at the bottom of the fishing window which you can use as a 'center.' (EDIT- that part's true, about the line beteween the boards at the bottom.) Then when the fish starts to pull, move your mouse slightly the opposite direction. It will take a while of practice to figure out how move mouse-movement means how much of a pull, and how that affects each type of fish.

It will take a while of practice to figure out how move mouse-movement means how much of a pull, and how that affects each type of fish. EDIT- I'm trying fishing now, and I know now why yours always goes left. My mistake, it's not the exact middle of the red lines that's "center," but the middle of the small blue view of the water, which you can find with that vertical line between the boards just under the blue water rectangle. I never really noticed, or maybe I forgot, that the red lines are not at all symmetrical around this imaginary "middle." So when you pull left and right, it should be equal amounts to the left and right of that imaginary line, and not to do with your mouse pointer in regards to the red lines! Hope that helps!!

i tried fishing again yesterday, and i stuck at it and got a full bucket xd
my last 2 fish were bass too, which i'm told is good for a basic rob. Pawel has leant me his performance+ for the night, i did try that in Gambino, then i realised that the fish wouldn't be impressed with my bait, so i went back to Bass'ken, still getting guppies and junk though, so..i got some D bait and tried again, that got me 4 bass in with the guppies, now i'm trying again with D in Gambino, got 2 cans and a green seedkin so far.
i am having big problems though, i'm having to use mozilla as fishing wont load through IE, and it keeps freezing up all the time stressed which isn't helping much, but i think i could end up pretty good at fishing 3nodding
