Scar will always be my favorite in that show and Luis Armstrong, the Strong Arm alchemist (funny how his state alchemist name is the same as his last name but switched), as my second favorite, but Hughes was my favorite human character. He had no powers but was smart and he kept Roy in place (I think he is going to blow something up soon). It should be interesting now that everybody in the show is on high tension.

Hughes wasn't in Vol. 1 of the manga. It got me sort of down. I was waiting to see how he would look in manga style.
