Chane winced, "Yeah.. your going to want... a whole leather body suit I think..." Chane frowned, "I think I've been gone long enough... I wish I could stay longer and try to help but... Little Deer will be getting worried soon and I don't want him comming looking for me..."

"Heh, what a joy," Azure said in a lighter tone. Kitrio found his perch rather difficult to balance upon and jumped onto Azure's back, which thankfully had a thicker skin than her human half.
"That's right..." Azure said, wondering how far Little Deer would get. "Oh wait!" Azure said suddenly, reaching to grab Chane's arm but then pulling back. "I mean... uh, can I walk back a ways with you?"

Azure took his hand with a blush, I have to go and emberass myself, don't I? "Fine, really," she said quickly. Kitrio reached for Chane's hand too, slower, remembering the purple one's shout from before. He was at a poor angle though.
Azure picked the basket up, placing it under her arm.

Chane eyed the crazy bird cautiously as he helped Azure up. "Vicious little thing... at least you won't have to worry about leaving him on his own... seems like he'd put up a pretty good fight... "

Kitrio kept his gaze mostly fixed on Chane, looking around whenever he and Azure passed under a low branch and thus reminding him there were trees and such about.
"I guess so, wonder how long it'll take him to learn friend and foe." She thought again about Little Deer's comment, it had been on her mind a lot while she'd been away. Did Chane ever think about it?

With a laugh Azure joined the joke. "He'll have his own missing limbs to worry about if he tries eating those I care for."

The joke apparently making no sence to him, Kitrio laughed along with Chane and Azure, "Kraaahahaha!"
Azure giggled a bit and rolled her eyes. "That's what I like about you Chane, no matter how bad things get you can always make me laugh."

Chane smiled, "Blame it on Cyn, that guy has the most morbid sense of humor," He eyed the crazy bird again. "Come all the way to my house, I can give you an old blanket or something for him to cling to untill you get some proper leather. Looks like it hurts..."

Azure gave a bit of a snort. "From what I've seen of Cyn, he's nothing like you." Azure didn't have a very high opinion of Cyn mostly because whenever he saw him it meant Chane wouldn't be around for long. "And thanks, that would be great..." Subtlety (sp?) was not Azure's strong point, but what she wanted to say wasn't the thype of thing for blurting out so she was glad of the extension of their walk.

"Yeah, well. 'From what you've seen of Cyn' isn't very much to go on, he's only really around the Isles when I need help. And, I think you've only seen him twice. That leaves an awfull lot of Cyn you just don't know about," He smiled, as he often did when feeling a little awkward.

"Hehe, yeah I guess..." Azure admitted. "Well I suppose he must be an OK guy, after all you had to get it from somewhere," she said with a teasing voice as she sidestepped a bit to give his shoulder a gentile nudge.

Chane paused, thinking about his real parents, the ones he'd never really known. He looked a little confused when she nudged him playfully, and he forgot his fear of the small feathery demon pearched on her back.
"And what is that supposed to mean?"
